Okay, so now i got 8 accounts running.

A few days back, My computer would lag (slow down) like hell that i couldn't even type.
so i got more Ram, now i have 8 gigs. But that didn't solve the problem.

Thought it was my graphics card... so i went out and bought a brand new ATI HD5770.
And to my surprise... i still have the lags...

spent the whole night messing around, cleaning my hard disk, defragmenting, cleaning registry... all those fun stuff.

And now i came to a conclusion that it's my CPU, that is the cause.
I had all the WoW clients running through a single core, thus the core was 100% all the time as soon as i fire up the 5th client..

Changed the affinity to all cores, and now the "lag" is gone, but i'm on constant 100% cpu usage :(

So i couldn't think of any better place to ask about it.
Do you guys get the same issue to?
does anyone knows how to solve it? :(

Here is my rig specs.

Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4P
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Processor : AMD Phenom II x3 720 BE 2.8 ghz , Fourth core unlocked, overclocked to 3.2ghz.
Memory : 8 Gigabytes.
Video card : ATI HD 5770

Hope any of you could help me :(

Start with a fresh install of Windows (or download a stripped down version) and disable every service you don't need, Aero etc.

Your rig should run 20+ accounts.

Well.. yea was planning on doing a fresh install tomorrow, the problem is.. this is also my personal computer, haven't made enough money for a new one yet >.<

So i still use it while botting, which is the main reason i made this topic for!
Thanks for your advice anyway :)

Oh, and is there any publicly spread Windows 7 stripped down versions you have tried and would recommend?

Hmm, if you don't mind sacrificing a little bit you can still do a few things to increase performance (Use a solid black wallpaper, disable Aero, disable useless services and only install essential software etc).

http://www.ccleaner.com/ Download this too and run it regularly, keeps your PC nice and clean.

Tiny7 is a good stripped down version, but it's x86 only sadly.

Just ignore the fact that it is telling you that the CPU is at 100%. This is just a glitch of sorts. Kinda like how windows XP, when it first was released, would not see over 680gigs of your HD although you could access it all. Windows often shows 100% load on a CPU when it is not really at 100%. It is just bad code, those lazy bastards at microsoft did not rewrite all that crap for all duel and quad and greater core processors. Most AMD's have this issue but it does not effect anything. I can't tell you why but it is not really at 100%. Trust me.

Proof of this? Because I've never seen this, and I own 4, 8, and 2048 core servers.

I have had seen it happen, thats my proof. If you don't beleive that windows can error on reporting CPU use then you are mistaken. It is true that it errors sometimes, given he is using windows 7 it is likely and very possible that either the motherboard bios or the cpu itself is giving windows a reporting error due to some type of very small compatibility issue with windows 7 and the components. I have had this issue before on a laptop with AMD core and windows 7. Sometimes a restart fixes it, but now I do not care becuase it doesnt make a difference to me what windows 7 tells me. If the computer is running well then its like a check engine light that never goes off but really doesnt tell you anything. If you are worried get a 3rd party program to check it and watch the CPU temp. If it is really at 100% for a long time it will be getting very hot then you will have an issue.

I'm not doubting you, I'm more curious in the code issue behind it. Wanted to see if you had some tech resource that explained it further, as I can't recreate it.

This will help you slim down your Windows 7 install. Not sure you need to strip it down though, it doesn't sound like you're Windows services are causing any problems. http://www.multimolti.com/blog/2009/01/09/shrink-windows-7-to-fit-on-asus-eee-pc-4gb-sdd/

I think a clean install is always a good idea. I do it at least once every 6 months to keep everything running nice and smooth.

I get a lot of lag from loading textures, zones, etc. I think it's my hard drive. If you've already updated video card, RAM and CPU then the next thing would be the hard drive.

If you don't have enough for an SSD or Raptor, look for a large single platter drive. They will provide the fastest read/write times. I hear the Western Digital Blue 500GB is the fastest non-SSD/non-Raptor drive you can get.

Also - you can try the Leatrix latency fix. It's posted on WoW Interface (I can't link it from work, cause that site is blocked). I've been using it for a few weeks now and my latency went from 200ms+ down to 95ms-100ms.

Good luck.

Use the program GameBooster, it eliminates processes you dont need.
Works wonders for me :0

At the moment i'm running 5 clients, 2 in org and 1 in dalaran and the other 2 are leveling.

The cpu usage is at 50-65%, mostly WoW/HB.
WoW's average cpu usage is 8%, jumps up to 13-15% most of the time.

WoW is running at 30 fps, can't run it any lower or it would effect HB's performance :( (tested it already)

If anyone needs more info in order to help me, i'll be more than happy to provide them >.<

I Already have it on.

Mh sounds like a Windows issue. From time to time you just have to kill your Windows and make a new and fresh install.
But maybe it's an other issue. I have similar problems with one HB, but only on startup. It takes hell of time and CPU usage is running up to 100%

Hit CTRL+ALT+DEL, click task manage, click show processes from all users, look for sidebar.exe. If its running google how to turn this off. Its what made vista so horrible for most users. It still has problems with multi core processors and can eat cpu and ram checking them for usage even tho you don't have widgets loaded or this bar viewable. It still does what it does in the background. Doesn't effect my processor but does many many others.

Also you might run a program HiJackThis (google it), and post the log to a paste bin so I can see if anything else bad is running. I specialize in my repair field on virus/trojan/malware detection and can usually see without a virus scan if you have anything from this log.

If you talk to me: I'm WinXP user and system is pretty new setted up and I guess pretty clean^^

If you wanted to know for sure if Windows is lying about your CPU usage, you could put a full load on your cpu and check temps then compare those against temps when your running WOW's. If your temps are considerably lower when running WOW's compared to a known full load then you know Windows is a douche bag liar!

Its ghetto but real world testing is indisputable.

Or you could just download a copy of Everest ultimate. Pretty easy to find a cracked copy. Will tell you temps, cpu/ram usage, voltage to each core, usage of each core.... Nice tool to have.
