I'm specifically looking for a guide that covers the setup of multiple wow/hb installs.
I have 2 pc's available, one could possibly run 5 instances, but I will likely split up installs with 2 on 1 and 3 on the other.
The main purpose will be leveling up some alts on my main account (yes, I realize that there is risk) and will not be farming/grinding for mats or have GPH as a concern. I plan on grinding in a 5 man group using RAF bonus via Dungeonbuddy and dungeon grinding. Once I'm done using the alt accounts I'll likely shelf them forever or maybe dust them off down the road if I ever decide to try out 'legit' multi-boxing. I've seen guides for setting up the HB settings etc. and think I have that covered, but what I'm still a bit unclear on is:
WoW Installs: How do I/should I, install multiple wow clients since battle.net makes that difficult?
HB Installs: This seems more straight forward. Just install it the number of needed times (any problem with copy/pasta'ing an install?)
Not going to worry about VPN's as those seem just as likely to get accounts flagged.
I bought 6 RAF deals ($4.99) while they were on sale. I bought them via my main account, which is not the smartest thing, but do you think that that by itself is going to flag me if I use those keys on 4 other RAF accounts?
I also created 4 separate emails and 4 separate bnet accounts for the 'alt' accounts.
Don't plan on botting for more than 6-7 hours in a go and, as I enjoy watching what's going on it probably won't be unattended for more than an hour at a time. Also, again, planning on grinding dungeons in a private 5 man group, so it's less of a concern.
I think that about sums it up. Like I said, I've done some digging and found answers to a lot of the questions that might come up, but specific install type stuff I came up a bit short on, so feel free to say that I have lousy Search-Fu and point me at a thread that answers all of this stuff, or even just provide feedback.
