So im planning to build my own rig, im pretty much done setting it all up on newegg before ordering it.
All i need right now is to know if the corsair H60 is a good watercooler for extented playtime (going to bot 24/7 and i want to keep things cool.
so far my set up is as follows
intel core i7 ( dont remember the exact specs but it was 349$ on newegg)
Nvidia geforce gtx 580
16 gb of. Ripjaw ram
a sick ass motherboard with integrated wifi and bluetooth abd all kinds of crazy stuff( its a ATX motherboard with a LGA 1155 socket so it matches my processor and my case)
64gb SSD for wow and my OS.
1 TB HDD for my files
A 850 watt power supply
a midsized tower case that looks pretty amazing for 70$
windows 7 system builder thingy for 99$
and my corsair h60 but i want it to run basically 24 hours a day in silence. So is this a good watercooler?
Im only planning to run 3 wow instances at a time, 2 of wich will be constant farming and the other will be raiding/arena/ whatever i feel like doing.
Also planning to play CoD and other demanding games .
If you have any recomendations to improve my system at a reasonable cost let me know. Or maybe i have other alternatives thst would be equivalent but cheaper? Meaning like alienware or something

I have this bad boy, works like a charm, although the temperature is a bit finicky and if set too low in winter has a tendency to freeze.

In all seriousness you don't need a complete water cooling system. Not bragging but my system is 3x better than yours and I only run an H100 and my system runs cool and perfect. Seriously though I'm not being a dick just trying to save you some money. I also run wow off 3 monitors with eyefinity

I use a Corsair H100 and its great. I live in a tropical environment with high humidity and have tested it out pretty thoroughly, and I have noticed cooler temps than air cooling. The temp remains stable (approx 55-60 deg C, in 90% humidity and 32 deg C ambient) at max CPU load compared to when I was using the stock Intel air cooler. The H80 should be fine for anything smaller than a full ATX case that supports the 2 x 120mm radiator.

Depends on your environment I suppose, but generally speaking I have never had issues with the stock air coolers, so water coolers are just icing on the cake and you can look forward to more stable temps than you will get with air cooling.

Here's my thoughts for what you have bought:

you spent a lot of money on an engine and transmission, but you have a motorcycle radiator in a v8

get the h100 for $100 on amazon (or 115 on newegg) and be done with it

I have had various air coolers (ocz's, coolermaster v6 gt, shitty stock coolers, etc) - and the h100 is the best bang for the buck; just check it every week to make sure it's not leaking and you'll be fine

Also, the case... mid towers are fine and dandy, but if you only upgrade once every few years or decade... get a badass case that will last you a lifetime. I have the thermaltake level 10 GT case and it is awesome. I bought it's little brother the level 10 GTS mid-tower for my bot computer ... and it's nice, but it's very, very hard to work with since it's a midtower

PSU's - with sooooo many cords coming from psu's these days, it's best to get a modular psu instead of the standard wired ones. You will cut down on a little weight, a lot of wires... and a lot of stress using a modular vs a regular

Also, psu's will pay for themselves in the long run; never get below an 80 plus gold; i recommend plopping down the cash for a platinum, as it pays for the difference in electricity over 1 year vs the others

If you plan on mass-overclocking... get the 9x120 radiator/fan kit; i forgot what it's called, but it's out there

Thanks for the reply, ill buy the h100, as for the case, i might buy the top rated one on newegg wich is 150$ you are probably right, i will not change the case all the time, ill just upgrade the parts.
Any thoughts on the video card? Do u think its a bit overkill for WoW/ skyrim/ MW3/ black ops 2/ other games like that.
I want to play them on ultra with no lag, or maybe theres better graphics card out there for the same price? (looking at 350$ for the card) some guy at future shop sait the GT630 may be better bang for the money considering the gtx580 is more for 3D gaming.... I dont know if hes right haha. Any help is welcome. Im not on a tight budget but im not swimming in gold either, looking for a machine under 1500$ to run everything smoothly on ultra (60+ fps)
