It would be cool if a plugin could detect when a player is nearby, so paranoid botters can do something different like stealth until they leave.

hb1 used to have this (i think), bugged the hell out of me

i thought we had a plugin for this?

I know it's possible because one of the CCs I used to use would buff nearby players if they were friendly.

ya i remember a cc that did that for my rogue stealth and move away from the player

its stupid simple to do the probme is what happends when your going out for repair? or someone starts grinding in the area? you can very well just have it stand there all day.

^^ this.

There are several places you can go in WoW to grind, but when you have to repair or sell things, what happens when you encounter all the nearby players? The bot gets thrown into a loopy stand-still. It's spazzing out thinking, "OMGOMGOMG soooo many people...!! Just stand still and no one will see me...!! *frazzled nerves*"

For the Paly class could it throw a blanket over its head or just whistle and look around like it wasn't doing anything bad....

Couldn't you just make it so the plug in is active in hot zones while grinding yet when the bot detects that it needs to train, sell etc.. it goes offline until back to the hot zone?

Ok but what happens when someone notices you stealth when they get in range, watch you and move away you unstealth they get close you stealth, they would play games with you all day long.

If you stood still I think they would assume you were afk and not bother you.
