Hey there,

I'm just having an issue with my bot with the title listed.

I've tried the following:

Fresh installation.
Deleting profiles.
Clearing my "settings" folder.

Both WoW and Honorbuddy are being run as administrator. I'm also logged into my character on WoW before I run Honorbuddy.

I've also tried rebooting the computer on occasion.

I only really use Honorbuddy for "BGBuddy" and that is what is giving me the errors. I've also tried a different profile just to see if I get the same error and I do, it's always the same error aswell. My character does not have any special letters, I don't own any characters across any realms with special letters either. This error happens when I click "Bot Config".

I've attached my log for your convenience and also a screen shot just so it makes life easier for everybody reading.

You are using the Dev version of HB. It is not the official release, please take 5me mins to search forums about this. So many people posting why is my bot not working? The Dev release is for devs only so they can start coding cc's. They are not done with HB and they will let us know when its ready just take a little time to search first. :)
 
Idk if BGBuddy is operational yet tbh. The current version of HB is for Devs only basically. While certain functions DO work, GB for example, most CC's are broken, along with almost all bot bases. So you may be SOL until an official release.
 
than the devs should work without a break on the release. dont code a new bot in a new language, and clean the code. make the old code working. and after customers are satisfied, there is plenty of time, to change the code from .net3.5 to 4.0 and clean out old unnecessary codelines. anyway. i guess it wont take days until hb is working propper again. it will take weeks. invest 20 bucks and rent a bot thats working fine.

and with devs here, i am talking about th core devs. cc devs started to work immediately. they dont get 1 cent for their work. and they dont know, there work if for good or for nothing, cos core devs change some code again. all my respect to cc devs!! why coredevs didn`t do the same? as soon as 5.0.4 went on on testrealm, code your fingers smoking. same cc devs are doing now.

Ah I see, I've spent about an hour looking around on the forums about this problem aswell. I saw a few posts regarding deleting profiles or removing certain files in the profiles folder as they were the most common issue giving the error. That's all I could find. But I see what you mean, just thought I'd post it so they could be aware of the problem if they aren't already. :)
 
i've stated that bgbuddy doesn't work atm in many posts, including hawkers official thread
