[N - Rep] Botanica Endless Farm (Sha'tar rep)

Hi everybody,

Bot to Use: Questing
Location: Botanica (in Netherstorm, Outland)
Rep gained: Sha'tar (about 3,000 Heroic, 2,000 normal)
Repair: No
Mailbox: No
Quests: No
AFK: 100%*

No special plugin required!

This profile will endlessly farm the Tempest Keep: Botanica instance, resetting the dungeon after each clear. It will kill (nearly) everything in the instance. If you start the instance on Heroic, then it will set it back to Normal after it clears it once (to keep the good times rolling). I did not manually set it to no loot mobs because some people like to loot everything, so set your own bot accordingly (you will gain rep much faster if you don't loot). At this point it will not auto-complete and turn in the 3 quests for this instance (though the first quest's objectives will automatically be completed when you clear it the first time). On my tank pally, each clear took about 15-20 minutes. It will use the instance exit at the back after you kill Warp Splinter.

You must start this profile either inside the Botanica or on the platform near the entrance. I was going to add a Mailbox and Repair to this, but I don't know if the bot will freak out if it tries to mail/repair while it's in the instance...


*Known issues:
  • Low-dps melee (i.e. tanks) sometimes get stuck trying to target a bugged add during the Laj encounter. Full dps melee will probably kill him before they spawn.


Please give me feedback if you try this profile out! I am planning on making more rep-farming profiles (I have a Magisters' Terrace profile I'm wrapping up).

Trying this profile now dude so far been running 10 mins it starts a little slow coming into the instance for example but then works really well ill post in about an hour after i AFK it a little. I should need to kill around 1650 Mobs until exalted so hope this works <3.

I ended the bot mid run and it ran back to the start and did not reset the instance is the only "issue" i have found so far. Does it matter if i have moveanything for example and my plates are not in the default location or does it script resetting the instance ? Also after High Botanist Freywinn it gets stuck for 5-10 seconds but a really good profile.

That stuttering near the entrance is due to the bot targeting the new "Summon Enabler Stalkers" in the front of every instance, which I assume is how WoW knows if you're near the entrance so you can use your guild summon. I tried to put those on the Avoid list but then it never moves past the entrance. If anybody knows a way around that, please let me know! Fortunately it only stutters there for a few seconds.
 
How come everytime I run out the instance it turns it into 5 player normal is that me failing and picking normal instead of HC if there an option or not?

Hey Zikke, random problems with your profile - the first problem was that I'm an idiot haha - ran it on grind bot because of my last profile - lol!

Came back and it was just afk outside botan on flyign mount. My HB could just be havign problems, anyone else seeing simillar things?

Didn't reset the instance (just finshed a run) and it was just starting to walk away from the botan entrance.. weird.


Edir: I dunno seems like it is a problem when it tries to start a new instance? came back and It was sitting outside. Rest and started HB again and it works.

That error code is something with the HB internal logic. They just had a new version come out and something things are working and some aren't. Did you try it with a clean new installation of HB? It looks like it's not something in the profile; I haven't changed this profile in a while. Unfortunately that HB code error is greek to me also. :)
 
Hey Zikke, loving the profiles so far!
One issue I had though was when I was running it with my Rogue, it tried to use "Shoot" but I had throwing weapons equipped.
I edited the file to use "Throw" instead (hope that's not a problem!) but you may want to add some support for that.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't touched this profile for a long time; I just changed the copy in the first post to have Rogues and Warriors try both Shoot and Throw just to cover all bases.

It seemingly does one run. Then just - stands outside and does nothing.

Running this on a Frost DK.
 
Same problem here does only one run then stops outside the istance, not resetting it nor entering it agin. Any way to fix it?

20 pala on my server doing it right now, only palas. Can anyone fix so its possible with vendor?
 
making 75 g a run, profile doesnt complete it anyway as i dont have the achievement, and it doesnt complete it.

i dont get the fuzz about all of this, its worthless imo?

And with worthless i dont mean the rep farm, its great, i just dont see why people would bot here 80-85.
