ABOUT
This will help you farm the Reins of the Drake of the North Wind. Reins of the Drake of the North Wind - Item - World of Warcraft

I did not write any of the code in the profile. The first parts of the profile consists of Botanist's checks and scripts. The coordinates are all Shiffty's.

The reason I consolidated their versions is because, even though they worked great for some, they just failed with my Warlock- even a paid one failed... This ugly cut and paste version actually worked great. Ran a few runs, made a few tweaks and decided that it may help someone on here as well.

ORIGINAL PROFILES

WHAT IT WILL DO


  1. Time each run to avoid "too many instance" errors.
  2. Set to only loot Altairus for the mount.
  3. Will NOT repair.

INSTRUCTIONS


  • Copy the quest behaviors over to your honorbuddy installation.


  • Use questing bot to run the profile- start anywhere in Kalmidor or Eastern Kingdoms.


  • Your character needs to have an ilvl450+


  • After you kill Altairus, the character will use the slipstreams to the next platform before jumping of to exit the instance and restart the process. Dont interrupt the bot!


  • Bot will wait inside instance until 12m30 have passed before exiting and resetting the instance. Reason waiting inside being that Alliance/Horde are usually outside instance and will gank you there. Just let the bot be!


  • Monks should be windwalker.


  • Finally- as Botanist says- go fishing and hopefully you will come back to find the mount in your bag.


CHANGE LOG:

Version 1:


  • first release of the cut and paste version!

Version 2:


  • Now inlcudes Botanist's movement abilities- start the profile in Kalmidor and Eastern Kingdom and it will fly to Uldum, set the Hearthstone, Repair, Sell and Mail!


  • Fixed the "Howling Gale" sequence to use Botanist's method of completing the part.- Note, the QB included are modded to support Destro and Afflic Warlocks- this wont work with Demo Locks- use Botanist if you want to farm as a demo.

Version 3:


  • Basically Botanist's version (without the RunLikeHell behaviors) with Shiffty's coordinates.
  • Demo Lock should work.

It runs OK. I have better luck with this profile than with Botanist's, in which i die during the last pull (pulls everything before second boss). But i just came back to it attacking a Howling Gale. It didn't attack once and then walk, it keeps pummeling it like it's a targeting dummy. :)

Remember to copy the QB's over to HB installation.

Works great for me. There was one time where it wouldn't attack the orbs, but it ran out waited, and started again. Finally got my mount.
523 Warrior.
 
Got mine after about 36 hours continuous HB run using this profile... need to manually restart sometimes.
 
When mine kills Altairus, it doesn't loot him.. Is there a reason why? Does the bot sense when the mount drops?
 
Currently Running as the Botanist Script was not working for me, Been running this for 6 runs now, on the 6th run, I notice my lock started running away from the boss mid fight to jump off the edge and I Caught it, then I noticed after the bosses died on the 6th kill, that my lock was going to run away and not loot the boss.

Will update when mount is achieved.
 
17 runs, no Mount. Turning off script and going to bed. I don't leave scripts on over night. Will update tomorrow.
 
Each World of Warcraft account can now create a maximum of 10 instances per hour (up from 5). Any chance we can see this updated to take advantage of these changes.
 
Looks great, just got it working...lets see how this is goes....17th run and no mount! Soon i will have it :)

EDIT: 21st run and got the reins, works like a charm thanks! :)

for me, the bot dosen`t loot. not even the mobs. i need to turn it off and loot it.
and he dosen`t atack the wind things that trow you away, need to do that also.
is there any way to fix it? all the pickup option are set to pickup.
 
It seems like anytime I copy quest behaviors my HB gets all kinds of screwed up. Is there somewhere in the guide that explains quest behaviors and what to do with them to make sure these kind of things don't happen? I can't get this thing to work.
 
By far the fastest profile out there... But why does it wait the time instead of leaving the instance and reseting
 
My feral druid keep staring at Howling Gale in cat form endlessly. v3, files have been copied and replaced
 
Can someone tell me where I should put the files that are inside of "Movement" Folder?

Do not know if it is updated to 10 runs per hour, as it is possible now without getting locked.
