My Toon will not auto attack when using gatherbuddy2 profiles

What's the problem that you're having?: No matter what GB2 route i load my Frost Dk will not defend himself while mining a node.
Windows version?: Windows 7 home premium, 64bit.
What bot are you having problems with? Honorbuddy
What profile are you running?: Doesn't matter which one.

This is my first time using HB. I read all the the starter's guides and i have gotten the profiles working fine. My issue is that my Frost DK will not defend himself when attacked by mobs while mining. It doesn't matter which profile i use and when i try to do a class config it won't even open a window. here is the text i have gotten so far:

Could not find a routine fitting for your class. Please make sure you have a proper combat class routine in your folder, and restart Honorbuddy.

HB should ship a routine for your dk, Singular , by default.
Is your CustomClasses Folder empty?

no it has both the shamWOW and singular folders
