As a long time user of honorbuddy, I'm pretty pleased with this first release, especially since it was a product I never thought would happen from the HB team.

Going forward, priorities I would like to see added into the bot are:

1) Auto equipping, auto mailing, auto selling
2) Better obstacle avoidance. As I've seen in other posts, if you try to run with anything but butchery on you will get stuck-and often.
3) I'm sure we'll see a wider variety of CC's being developed in the coming days but for now, the two I've tried (mage/rogue) are working pretty danged well.

Yea. For a new project, this is great. I'd really like to see more obstacle avoidance and auto-selling to help with longer runs.

I'd like to add

4) Auto buying food

From my experience, the different of running it with or without food is night and day..

I'm playing bard/ranger/bladedancer. Now at level 25, he still hasn't eaten the newbie food he got when he was born. :)

This, Bard/Ranger is a grinding machine with no downtime and no problem plowing through mobs.

bard ranger i have ran for 2 days straight made 100p already i have NO clue what u guys are talking about lol

This is what I was saying not sure if you're disagreeing with me or someone else but yea same :) I gone from 40-50 and made over 150p in the last 2 days going non-stop with zero problems. I do have gathering turned off though.

Being a gatherbuddy lifetime member, having found out that the buddy team are now making a rift bot (my actual game of choice - as opposed to my 'game' of selling wow gold) I couldn't miss out on giving it a try to help me get that leg-up for leveling.

I've been using it for all of about 15 minutes now and while it is quite basic in comparison to the gb/hb apps, it gets the job done quite well. I've had no issues with dying (by following the spec outlined in hawker's blog posts) or even coming close to dying, even with 3-4 adds.

I can see myself buying into a month subscription tomorrow and provided I haven't jumped the rift ship by the end of that month, I can see myself getting the yearly after that (although I also wish there were a lifetime option, I love that about GB).

I bought the yearly for the 3 sessions so my wife could bot her mage at the same time. :) I've been using Honorbuddy for a year and expect these guys to expand the bots capabilities far beyond what it is now.

EDIT: I started with nothing at level 1. Now have around 15 pp after equipping my toon with 4 16 slot bags. Due to stuck issues, butchering is the only gathering skill I am currently running.

Sounds like rolling a Cleric was a mistake. :-(

I started the bot on my 40 Cleric that i hand leveled but realized quickly that it was way too slow for my gear/spec. So I rerolled Bard/Ranger/Bladedancer and I am loving LIFE!!!

If we could just get vendoring fixed and Exemplar to make an Autoequip plugin, I'd be golden. :)

I just watched a 32 cleric (non bot) kill a mob in my grind area. While she killed one, my 26 rogue killed 3. 0.0

Hmm I may give Bard/Ranger/Bladedancer ago then and see what happens, as of right now though my cleric is going amazing!

Rizarjay, what spec is your cleric and what level, if it's low I can give you the build i'm using and it's doing great!

Cleric is the weakest of the routines I created. It works much better if you use a shield instead of a 2 hander. But I have wondered if I chose the wrong souls.

I have a level 50 cleric t1/t2 equipp running, same specc as mentioned in the guide, runs absolutely perfect without any downtime...always 80-100% mana. Even against 5 mobs still no problem.

Sometimes it gets stuck and takes a bit too long to decide what to do next. After watching it for 1 hour i also had the feeling there isn't something like LoS check, sometimes it runs against a wall and on the other side is a attacking mob.

So priorities would be for me:

- improved anti stuck routine
- improved los detection (run away if attacked from a mob that stands on a hill or something and the bot can't manage to get there within x seconds -> continue pathing or something)
- LIFETIME ACCOUNT!!! =))

The bot has bin out for what? 2-3days? The CC´s are being fixed/updated.
When it comes too what type of toon to bot with. its all about taste. Some are better at survival and some have better killing speed.
And some are wtf op ^^
