First off, I want to thank the developers for continuously providing us an amazing product. I know you guys spend countless hours of your time coding and developing for us and we appreciate it, so thank you!

Trinity has come ALOOONG way since the early days. Many many options / customization's have been added that are fantastic. This can be an issue for newer users, they can become overwhelemed and give up. My concerns are the direction that the new Trinity is heading. I completely understand the thoughts of appeasing to newer users with more user friendly UI's and options, but what about the many advanced users like myself?

My first thoughts logging in were "where is this option, where is that option, oh I can't do that anymore, etc" I was quite sad. I felt like so much was just stripped away from me.

To me this almost seems like a step BACKWARDS from where we have come. More options are better, more customization is better. You guys have built an amazing program and have continued to expand, I don't understand the reasoning behind taking it away.

Is there a way to do both? Maybe upon login an option to choose EZ-Mode Trinity vs Advanced? It will allow newer users the opportunity to get familiar while still letting us advanced users keep our options. I don't know.

At any rate this isn't a rant merely an observation / request I guess. Again thank you to the devs for all the hard work they continue to pour into this project, much love to you guys! :)

looks like you're a long time user and maybe you can help me out.

"file Based Script Rules" for items, I can't find it. Is it gone?

Hey thanks for sharing your concerns

It's interesting when things are going well and nobody says so, and you only hear the negative things it leads you to perhaps believe things are worse than they are. There's was a bit of that going on i think.

A large portion of the settings were things that would make the bot worse if you touched it. Destructible range slider was a good example - why are we asking users to understand how the range is being interpreted and set it for the skills they're using and the class being ranged/melee etc. That is something that the bot can just figure out for you. If you changed that slider it would likely not be able to destroy destructible - so why have it there at all? Trinity should just do it for you.

So you start looking at other settings like the ability to choose if you wanted to sell or salvage items. Why? why do we have that really? it used to make sense 3 years ago when the scaling of gold was different and you had no use for crafting materials. Nowadays you pickup more money than you can ever spend and cubing is the best way to find gear.

Paragon customization i really liked, i spent quite a bit of time on that one making it drag and drop and have settable limits for certain builds that needed no points in critical chance and things like that. But then times changed and everyone has 800+ paragon within a week of season rendering the entire thing pointless aside from adjusting the amount of movement speed based on your boots (which it does still do automatically).

Checkboxes to pickup wings and pets - would you ever NOT want to pickup a pet? seems unlikely - and you can see how this cascades.

What settings in particular do you miss?
