#1 Don't talk about fight club
This one is pretty simple you don't talk about botting to anyone else in game/mail/comms even if you see them botting. Ignore them and move on as you keep your head down.
This moved from 2 to 1 in short order as an idiot i knew from my wow days ( go glider I miss you so, as I also remember honor buddy under Glider
) was talking in mails / private chat with friends about his botting prowess.
#2 NEVER bot anything you arn't willing to lose.
If your not wanting to risk it, then don't.
#3 DO NOT BOT AFK, EVER
This is a personal thing, I've never been banned from a game without a banwave from software detection due to this. This gives you the opportunity to respond to players in real time and to handle reporting properly. I've talked to several GM's in AA that we're checking out my farming and they have passed me off as an OCD player who plants like a monster. Every time you walk away and let the program take the reigns 100% your taking a bigger risk. I like to minimize such risks.
#4 If what your doing looks bottish, find a better way. Or minimize the activity in such a way it's not noticeable.
Don't sit in the same grinding spot for more than a couple hours, otherwise you are inhuman. No matter how hidden it is or how good the drops are. Run shifts of bots if your going to do that. So it's never the same name they see twice.
#5 Use real names, none that can be linked to you of course or any variations of your name.
This is a new addition, as i have seen a number of bots with names that scream I am a bot.
#6 Always protect yourself use a minimum of two to three layers of protection between you and your bots.
If your filtering gold/items from your bots to your main. mix the money with trades and auctions house listings.
