My plan on making a bit of gold - Will it work?

Hi,

I just started using HB and now I want to make a bit money for myself. I bought a second WoW Account (No MoP just Cata) and started leveling a char there. I want to use that char to gather ore and herbs. When bags are full, it should send all items to the bankchar on the same account. Then i wanna change the char to the bankchar and use the AHBot from Professionbuddy. I wanna realize that with HBRelog, so I can automatically run the AHBot every... I dont know... 4 or 6 hrs?

I don't want to make maximum gold but I want to make at least more than 15k per month (because thats the amount of gold I could by on MMOGA by spending the same money as buying game time^^).

Will this work? Will i get banned for sure maybe because I forget something or so? Please help me out a bit :)
 
everyone gets banned eventually. you just need to know that you can lose everything in the blink of an eye. bot for fun, not because you feel the need to get to X amount every month. using hb to ease the crappiness of daily grinding is ok, and you have a good plan. just dont plan on that working out for very long.

things you may want to think about. bot is going down for a bit in 2 weeks when 6.0 patch hits. there are major changes to the game and the devs will have to deal with that. then 4 weeks after that the main patch for the expac hits and the bot will be down for a week or two to be refitted to the new content. everyone will be scrambling to adjust and there may not be very many profiles posted to the forums. and those that do get posted will be used by many people who just want a quick buck.

use this time to learn how to write profiles for the existing botbases. use this time to level new toons so you can get professions leveled up on them. now that you can make multiple dk's on a realm, this is the fastest way to get those jc's alchemists, enchanters, tailors, leatherworkers leveled up.

grinding herbs and ores right now is not a good use for your time. prepare for the upcoming expac by leveling new toons.
 
On my main account I have 9 lvl 90 chars... but I dont plan on botting to make gold on that account.

And well i dont want to have that much work with the gold farming bot... Do I really need to get professions up others than mining and herbalism?

When you said "...and you have a good plan" I thought ok, so I will farm some Cata ore and herbs when my bot account char is lvl 85... I would send all items to the bank char and let it post the things to AH... What do you think how much gold will be possible with that (running 10hrs a day switching between gathering and AHBot)
 
get your toon to lvl 85,get tailoring-enchanting,farm embersilk cloth with any profile,2 hours should be enoguh to get 375 embersilk cloth and 75 infinite dust that makes 5 embersilk bags and its' median parket price is 320g atm,worst case scenario sell them 200g per bag.You just got 1k(vendor trash not included) per day/25-30k per month by only farming for 2 hours,GZ!

it depends on what you want,i gave you an idea to achieve double of your gold goal per month.
 
I meant is it too risky to run it more than 2 hrs a day or can i run it for 4 hrs and then only every 2 days?
 
in my opinion it is not riskier than farming with gb2 yet everything is risky atm
 
i also have a farm team like the one described above. two 90's on one account. one is jc/mining, with a few hours a day, i can bring in an easy 4k, just by buying up the cheap ore on the ah and doing the shuffle. the second toon is tailoring/enchanting. i can run a custom farm profile i made and bring in 600gph, running afk. and every other day, i run dungeons with dungeonbuddy and farm a few shards to sell on the ah. just to break up the farming schedule.

with those two chars on that one farm account, i can easily bring in 15k a week. 4x the amount you want to earn.

edit-i do have to send a few gems over to my alchemist to transmute for that 4k a day.
