MY PERSONAL solution to the Honorbuddy problems..

Alright, I actually had the impression that nobody were having problems with running Honorbuddy anylonger by now, however, it seems I was wrong...

What worked for me, was to basically do the opposite thing (I BELIEVE) of what people sometimes are telling you to do. If your WOW is crashing as soon as you start the bot, try to do the following things:

1. Re-install Honorbuddy, as it sometimes won't work if you keep going with the bot that originally kept crashing.
2. Go to wow "Systems" -> Graphics and put it on WINDOW MODE -> Now go to "Advanced" and put it on "DirectX 9" and NOT - 11 (I believe the guide tells you to do the opposite thing, but that doesn't seem to work for me.
3. Run the 32-bit version of WOW - Just as the guide originally tells you to do.
4. Run Honorbuddy (always as administrator, just in case).

Now... I do not know if this will work for you, all I can say is, that I can't run Honorbuddy in Fullscreen nor with the game on DirectX 11. I realise that this is very wierd, but apparently thats just how it is. I am just very tired of looking at threads where people are explaining the problems they encounter when using Honorbuddy just to get told that they are doing "something wrong" and that they should start learning "the simple mechanics of a computer" before using stuff like this, because they clearly are to "retarded".
Some of us are having really wierd and PERHAPS even unexplainable problems, but that doesn't make us idiots ;).

I think it is clearly stated before you download HB that you have to use the settings you described above.

This may be why people are being alittle annoyed I guess.
 
Granted changing a few settings seems like a trivial task for most, but for people like my friend who couldnt figure out how to run wow in windowed mode, a program that changed the settings for you would be nice. Seems like that would be easier than trying to make a guide for people who dont know what directX is. Even installers for profiles and such for people who cant seem to figure out how to put them in thier hb folder. trivial stuff and yea im with you when u start saying people who dont know how to do this stuff shouldnt use hb. Reality is they are going to try no matter what. Might as well make it easier on your self and dummy proof it.

That is the exact opposite of what i said and instead actually what people are telling the other people who can't make honorbuddy work.
 
AS FAR as I remember, it doesn't say anything about putting it on window mode. Also it tells you to put it on DirectX 11 (which I also explain in the thread) and I am telling them to put it on 9.
Jesus, can people not read :)?
 
if there was a "Everythings ok for me" thread it would have more posts then anyone whos actually having issues. everything that was described by the OP is mentioned in the guide
windowed mode
dx9 (dx11 if your having isssues)
32bit mode.
login completely before starting honorbuddy

use your key as your username with no password


these are all things ive typed more then 1000 times.

I meant that for people that were gonna come on here and start flaming about noobs shouldnt use hb.

it says windowed mode.
it says dx9 if your having problems with dx11.
i can read.
 
Its not a "cant make HB work" its more so a your system settings are not configured properly. Botting was never something for the simple minded... back in the day, most bots you either knew what you were doing... or you didnt even try.... I honestly think they have made it too easy, inviting in a class of people who are naive and lazy to earn the privileged...
 
we are paying for it, if you dont know how to use something you are paying for then dont pay for it, its simple. and the forums are here to help people learn how to use it, because if they didnt learn how to use it then no one would buy it.

if you raiding and want full screen you also can do windows bordles or something its the same but on full size
 
Another informations, i dont know if it was sayed before i'm too lazzy to look everythings but :

I was playing in french or russian language, and manny features are not multi-language, so i'll put in english and almost of my problems was fixed ( Leveling )
