When I bought my key on March 21, 2014, my confirmation email said it would expire in 3600 days. That would put the expiration date on January 28, 2024.
Why is Demonbuddy saying my key is already expired more than 6 years before the expiration date?
Edit: After reading the post from January 17th, here are my thoughts.
For what it's worth, this change doesn't make me want to buy a new license key. My fun playing D3 was to come up with my own builds with my own pieced together sets, and try to see how far I can push the bot in Grifts while optimizing runes, skills, and gear. Having to buy a new key every season isn't going to bring me back every season, it's going to make me quit playing D3 altogether.
A lifetime promise is a lifetime promise. You can't sell a customer a lifetime product, and then bow out a few years down the road because you made a bad decision selling the product in the first place. I am disappointed with this program now, and figure it's probably too late to ask for a refund, although I would like one. This is no longer the product I paid for. Though I guess now that my key is expired, my eligibility for a refund is null and void.
