My GB doesn't enjoy dismounting.

Not sure what I can do about this. Basically my GB will sit hovering just above the herb / ore node, while being attacked. He won't dismount and engage in combat or jump down and mine the node.

This is very prominent for me with the harpies in stormpeaks. Any suggestions that I can correct this? If any further info is required please let me know and I will try to provide as needed.

use the normal mount button(not one with macros)
and also make sure that your wow keybindings are on default

So if your suggesting using normal macros, what are we using to combine the eternals =p.

The wow bindings are configured for what gatherbuddy uses, and /use Bronze Drake is the "normal" mount macro. That's what the game does when you click your button. It changed a while ago, where GB used to dive bomb right into the node from like 10k feet in the air. Now he eases in to the node, but kind of pauses at each one before he actions it. (mine / herb) or whatever. What happens is when hes going in, and get's there but get's agroed before he dismounts it tends to not do anything.

That macro I have used since my join date of 15.01.2010 never had any problems with it -- so while I will attempt your suggestion, I don't believe it's the issue at hand.
