I can't provide you a source it was stated from HB dev team and this was used also on D3 Beta and live.
BUT Blizzard uses watermarks and numbers hidden in the images you take using print screen which of course are not viable easily. It is not a wise decision to post pictures.
You don't need to trust me, just google Blizzard embeds user data and there ton of articles.
