I will not recommend this profile to anybody. By reading through the ban report I found out
This seems to be a big magnet to the banhammer.


A friend of mine has over 30 sessions of HB and got banned/unbanned loads of times.
He's got a whole .pdf file on how to counter every single question you get sent.

I will update this thread as soon as I get response from the blizzard team.
And will share the .pdf once it succeeds me through this misery.

Took a while before I got answer from blizz but I appealed my ban and got it down to 72h from a perma ban.
Here is what got it done, for me (regarding the use of Gatherbuddy profiles)

Something terrible happened to my account.
I am being accused of the use of third party programs.
Though, I deem these accusations invalid and take it as an inappropriate insult.
I do know my online hours have peaks and I should play a bit less.
Though I do really like this game and I simply need my daily dosis.
The accusations you made are (I assume) based on the hours I spend farming specific areas
I have already been contacted about that before, even worse; several times.
Which on the flipside, for me farming is the one and only aspect of the game I simply like the most.
I set out specific routes which I think will gain me the most profit and simply make routine-work out of it.
Resulting in grinding materials for hours and attempt to control specific Auction House markets.
I would like to ask for a second review of my suspension, for I do not understand for the life of me.
Why someone who likes aspects in the game whom you, blizzard have implemented yourself.
Should be punished for over-doing or over-playing that aspect.
Therefore as stated above I will not accept these accusations and hope you will grant me the honesty

I hope this helps out anybody who got banned for overusing GB2
IF IT GETS YOU UNBANNED - NO MORE GB2! its simply asking for a ban.

Yup, I can confirm this. I ran GB for around 10-12 hours per day on a handmade profile that NO ONE else had access to, and I still got banned on it (but had it overturned).

I can confirm this too : GB => perma ban => appeal => 72h ban.

i tried many things, when my one acc got banned from GB2, apealed and rejected, apealed again and a supervisor stamped account with " DO NOT TALK ABOUT BAN" and now anytime i try to apeal i get disconnected from chats within 20 seconds.. aw well

People usually go to heavy on GM's - remember they are simply doing their job and KNOW when you botted yes or no.
For example: they grab some popcorn, teleport you and enjoy the movie. because your bot will be struggling to find his way out.

The keys to have a chance on appealing are:
- Proper english
- Adress them properly
- Adress your excuse properly (again, they know you were botting so if you were using GB2, admit that you should go outside more because you play for too long on a daily basis)

After your first appeal they will most of the times answer with:
- We have reviewed your appeal and have confirmed our initial findings *confirmed you botted for the second time)

Just make a new ticket asking for a second review with close to almost the same ticket, now just use the previous ticket number as a referral
And simply ask for a second review. Since Honorbuddy is not injected into wow itself but attaches-to and reads the wow data
They can never EVER prove that you were botting for 100%
And after a second ticket in which you have admitted that you:
- play too much
- should go outside more
BUT need your daily basis....

They will most of the times let you go with a 72h suspension.
If you want to get your perma removed. invest some time.
Be carefull in the future!
