So... I've slowly been expanding my "bot network"
D) from 1 casual bot, to (at this point) 3 bots, one of which runs 24/7. So far I've been using seperate physical machines (New PC, Old PC and a laptop) for them as well as 3 different internet accesses (home network 1, home network 2, friend's network). Though I would presume this is the "safest" imaginable set-up for 3 bots, it has many drawbacks including but not limited to:
1) nowhere to expand (4th bot and so on)
2) pain of having a PC at my friend's house (which at this point in time attracts parent aggro
)
3) inefficient resource usage (I imagine my new pc can handle at least 3-4 D3+DB setups as it is pretty decent)
So the question I would liek to ask, what would be the most logical way out of this situation? How much does it matter to have different IPs? Different hardware? Do virtual machines work good for this? I still would like to maintain a reasonable amount of "caution" as I don't want to be blatant and obvious to be botting.
Hoping for some advice and have a nice day =)
