Multiple Account Ban Question

Hi. I've started botting and i've got a question that i'm worried about.

In my house, there are three computers, where two of them play World of Warcraft.

On mine, the botting happens on MY account only. On the other computer, my brother plays WoW manually, no bots involved.

Question is, if i get banned for botting, will he get banned aswell?

From my experiences, no. They only ban the account in question.
I've had an account banned while I was playing on my main account by hand on the SAME computer. And my roommate has never been touched when I have been banned.

The risk of being caught on multiple accounts even on the same computer is low. So dont worry too much about it.

I think it completely depends on the GM doing the banning, tbh.

I just had 4 of my bot/ah/gold selling accounts closed... my brother who lives with me and does not bot did not get banned. It might have been because he wasnt online when it happened, because all 4 of them were on in some fashion when I got the hit. One of the accounts had only been botting for 2 days and only for a couple hours a day at that. There's no way it had a report on it yet. I think the GM just went through and closed all accounts on my IP connected at the time because it was literally one after the other with about 2 minutes inbetween them. I watched as my hopes and dreams were swept away... until I buy a new account tonight and start over
