Hey guys, been an Honorbuddy user for about 3 months now and I love it. Recently with the dirt cheap prices allowing you to get a Bchest and WoD for like 15 bucks + 1mo of game time, I decided it's time to get an extra account or two so I don't have to bot on my main anymore. While I'm at it I'm finally going to fulfill a pet aspiration of mine and try out multiboxing.

I installed jamba and before I went ahead and paid for software like ISboxer, I gave HotKeyNet a shot. It works as intended, but the prep and setup I just don't have a whole lot of time for so I decided today I'm going to do the ISboxer 7 day trial. First though I wanted to stop in here and ask some folks about the subject who might be more experienced.

1. Would anyone recommend another kind of software over ISboxer? I get the impression that it's the most streamlined or dumbed down of the lot. I'm not daft, but if I can forego a day's worth of configuring and tinkering with macros, I'll go for it.
2. Any deals or extra trial time I should be aware of with ISboxer or another more preferable client?
3. Finally, are there any plugins, botbases, or profiles for Honorbuddy that I should be aware of for multiboxing? I'm going to always control my lead toon for now, I won't multibox-bot until I'm much more comfortable and knowledable about the whole subject.

I'm using the same PC for now to multibox my main with two additional toons.

Thanks for reading, and thanks to Kick and Echotiger and the whole team for the amazing leveling profiles that allow me to cap toons without breaking a sweat.

Try keyclone, it's the easiest to setup and works just as well as any of the other software solutions. But in all honesty, if its taking you an entire day to setup this kind of software, you very well may be daft. There's videos all over the place, as well as forums to help with setup.

It's not that I can't figure it out, especially with the help of tutorials. It's all the little detailed tweaks that I don't have enough time for. Like I said, I got it working but I'm interested in other software that takes care of more of the necessary functions since it's pretty common knowledge that HotKeyNet is free but the downside is that it lacks a UI, and I'll have to go through and config it all, customize the template scripts that most sites have, etc.

I expected at least one person to say something like "if you're not willing to put the time in you shouldn't etc etc" but I don't want to add yet another thing to customize from the ground up. I have too much of that already.

Thank you for the recommendation I'll look into Keyclone.

There is no need to be rude.

I've used both ISBoxer and Hotkeysnet. I used both and found them both satisfactory. I preferred ISBoxer for the extra features.

You can always google for coupons or something but none that I'm aware of.

I have seen the below before, though I can't attest to how good it is. You could also try party bot which is part of HB.

Then don't do all the little tweeks and don't customize it from the ground up. Just watch a tutorial, set yours up the same and use it. Hotkeynet is nowhere near the best option when it comes to multiboxing characters in an mmo. Setup jamba, setup either ISboxer or Keyclone and start the multiboxing.

All you really need is something that will share keystrokes between multiple sessions, a follow macro set to key1, an assist macro with /startattack set to key2 and the 2-4 dps skills set 3-6. Hell, if you're 5-boxing, all you need is the first 2 macros and 1 skill and everything should fall over dead on attack. If you're throwing in any of the various RAF bots we have for HB into the mix, all you really need is the first 2 or you'll find your botted followers wandering off occasionally.
