Alright, so i've been looking around the forums for the last hours, and im only able to find bits and pieces.

Currently im expanding from 1 bot to 2-4 bots on a single computer. And i want to add some "security" (i know its not safe at all) but with the recent bans i've tryed looking into setting up some vmware + *** or isboxer. But im not sure what exactly is the difference between the programs and how they work. I mainly want to change my hardware id and mac etc. on each application of d3+db. and if easily possible also my ip.

However im not sure how this is done, so if theres any guides around that i have been unable to locate, please link them here so i can have a look =)

Also would like some input if its even worth investing in these programs, and if they even provide any real "securty" or if blizzard throws bans your way anyway.

For reference i've been botting for like 1,5 months with my current account about 24/7, running hellbuddy before demonbuddy came out and since then running sarkoth pretty much. So i think a ban should be comming my way very soon, therefore dont want my new accounts to be linked to this =)

Sooo...
VMware : VMware Workstation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
isBoxer : Multi-boxing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
*** : Virtual private network - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Basically, just type out those keyword in google and read, I can't do it for you. Wikipedia explains pretty clearly what each of those software/concepts do.

When you will have specifics questions, don't hesitate to post them.

Well from what i have read there and other places, isBoxer doesnt provide any options for changing hardware id or ip or anything right? only customizeable startup and overview functions, which can easily be provided by plugins in DB right? So dont really see the reason to use it, also theres no guides or anything on how to set VMware or v p n up for diablo 3 multibotting.

I'm kinda new at this and not sure if i need specific options to set it up for diablo 3 botting, or just can follow some general quick guide in there. But my real question is if its "safer" to use these programs at all and if its worth buying them?

Anyhow im gonna buy some extra accounts tomorrow and try it out there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated =)

From when I did WoW, I wouldnt use any proxee's (mispelled it cause its blocked by stars), they just ended up getting me flagged more often.

VMware will give you different MAC id's, so you won't necessarily need hardware ID changing software, the point of VM is to make it look like you're another computer on your network. I would use a VM at least, from my WoW experience if you go big, and have it looking like one computer runs them all it's more likely to get link-banned. I wouldnt consider 2-4 bots big.

I dont use isboxer for D3, I used it on EQ to box multiple toons, but from what I've gathered isboxer is just to make the load of multiple clients easier on your computer by delegating different cores of your processor to different clients of D3, instead of all clients using same cores. So ISBoxer is more to help with performance. I would just go with VMware, maybe 1 or 2 bots per VM if you're going big.

If you really have to change your IP you'd want to look into a paid service, the free proxee/redirect programs (like people use for WoW) are considered "known" hacker IP's or associated, that will get you flagged more (happened to me, even had a WoW CSR on phone tell me that hackers use these programs). Paid services most likely won't be hacker IP associated.. with that you'd want an IP program (proxee or what not) in each VM.

Either way the defining detail will be how you set up your accounts, is your registration information the same? Have you ever logged on to any of the accounts from the same IP as another account you've logged onto? Are the email names similar? Did you use the same paypal to buy the accounts? Same credit card? Same phone number? Everything is logged. Are you friends with your accounts through battle.net friend list? Have you ever had a pattern of trading gold between the accounts? We can get real paranoid with all this lol.

With VMware, you'll need to know how to get a "registered" version of VMware if you plan on using it for more than a month.. I think the trial only last 30 days. There are keygens. You'll need an operating system ISO, cant use vista cause D3 won't run on Vista. I used Windows 7, that'll require "activating" too. Enjoy. I wouldnt buy another license of W7 or VMware, both expensive :P If you know what you're doing you can find a way around it. Google is helpful for setting up VM's, theres also a guide on ownedcore.. Running in VMWare - allows ANY resolution, multi-bot, all while your PC is free.

First of all, thanks a lot for the input!

I'm certainly gonna use the VMware then, so i guess i can just find some *****ed w7 and use the VMware with it?
Also about the accounts, i havent created any of them yet. My current is registered in my real name with everything (my main account) and linked to real paypal etc. (i know its not exactly smart, but hey i've managed to bot for 1,5 months without getting banned :P) So how would you suggest i go about creating the new ones?
Using fake names, only logging in from the VMware and creating the accounts from there? Also does the VMware use the same different hardware ID etc everytime i log on?

Also im gonna buy the games in a store so i just activate it on a newly created account im gonna make tomorrow, so i just guess i use some random account info and a new email etc? =)
