[Multibox plugin] DB + ISBOXER semi-auto bot

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone else beside me would be interested in a plugin which could be used for multiboxing on one computer. What I mean by that is that you can play your main character actively as you would usually do and the bot automates all the slave in your group. I personally use ISBOXER for multiboxing three toons on one machine and it would be fantastic to extend the features by us DB together with ISBOXER. The features which particularly coming to my mind are:

- slaves follow you main char (can be activated/deactivated by hotkey)
- turn automated fighting on/off
- loot automatically
- hotkey to identify loot automatically in your slave inventory
- drop white items out of the slave?s inventory automatically
- use health potions automatically
- follow main toon through portals
- etc.

Unfortunately I don?t have the programming skills to create such a plugin but in general I think these feature could all be done by a plugin.

Apart from the fact that this is just a great way to play actively and gain four times the loot which you would usually get I also think that this significantly reduces the ban probability for your accounts.

I am keen to see what you guys think and if anyone else here has a big sympathy for a semi-automated group of toons. It would be fantastic if we could get the support from one of the plugin creators. I would be even happy to pay for the creation and maintenance of such a plugin.

They have this section called Support Thread also Request Thread and one more called Developers.

You would have better luck getting none troll response if you posted in one of those vs the general section.

I would personally use this also, sounds like a great idea and I just wish I had the background and knowledge to put it together myself.

I believe you can do most of this already without ISBoxer, but you would need a few things.

1. Get an Honorbuddy for each character you are going to play to include the one you are going to control and make sure your computer can handle the number of game sessions and the HB sessions. (5 characters = 5 Honorbuddy sessions)
2. Get Jamba addon - wow.jafula.com

Start the controlled character (aka "master") and start an HB for it. Make sure that you turn off all controls (movement and combat) for this character.
Start each of your RAF characters and their HB sessions connecting them to the "master".
That is pretty much it.

With the Jamba, you can somewhat interact with the other characters when obtaining quests and looting.

I have been doing this for quite a few months myself. Got tired of pugging things.
