So recently I've seen ALOT, and I mean ALOT of Crimsom Deathchargers on the Auction house across all servers.
I Bought 1 for my alt for around 100k (Not relevant to my Question). But the guy had 7 of them?

On the high populated realms some guys sell up to 5 each, and then theres many others selling.
It cant impossible be people actually farming them atm, So my question is following.

Can you mule items? Since I believe its the case here.

For those who might not know what mule is, it was used alot in D2/D2LOD to copy items.
ex. You got a Netherweave bag, and you can cheat the game to do something and you suddenly got 5 bags without making more than the first bag you had from the beginning.


Just something I needed to ask about, since it bug the hell out of me where all those mounts suddenly came from
 
As far as Im aware duplicating in WoW doesn't go by the name mule.
In WoW people think of alts(banking alts) muling as in the games you said might be possible, but there for someone else should tell if there is such way to do so since I dont have those sources anymore.

Apperently they found way to copy items, thats why epic gems droped to 1k everywhere and u had random guy showing up with 500+ red gems. Blizzard said they fixed that so the prices went up again.
Most likely its thet same deal with those mounts... somehow... they do it. It was easly sold for 500k before , now you can easly find it for 100k.
 
As far as I am aware there is no way to duplicate an item. Though if the guy was a multiboxer who had a ton of time on their hands I could see it as a possibility...
 
Well yea dublication you can call it aswell, I just always know it as Mule-ing.

But yea thats right, I've seen those who just sold TONS og epic red gems. But I figured it to be Goldsellers who had emptyed players accounts and somehow had got all their gems etc on 1 account to sell it on other servers.
So im guessing they found a way to dublicate items (mounts etc) hmm
 
Yes there were different methods found to dupe items. Thats why the price for gold is that low right now. I hope prices will get better when those duped items are finally sold out. (Blizz told that the dupe method has been fixed)
 
Mule usually refers to using a bank alt toon on a vanilla account to sell gold.

Duping is what is usually used to refer to duplicating items.

Why duplicating items would be known as mule-ing is just odd.
 
I am also curious about this topic. To be clear I am NOT asking how it is done, I don't want to know that. But, what I am concerned with is if anything will happen to the items themselves. For example, I saw a guy selling mats for Vial of the Sands for about half the vendor cost + the Truegold bars. Total 15k. I wasn't sure why he would do this, but I bought 9 and figured I'd make them and sell them after MOP comes out. He was spamming trade all day, so who knows how many he sold. But I know at least one person either duped them as well or picked up a bunch from this person cause he was saying he had 60 and was selling each for 20k. My concern is that I heard that these duped items would be somehow deleted by Blizzard. Now, the deletions could have been about the duped items themselves - such as Death Charger mounts and the mats. I used the mats to create the vials and have them in my bank. I'm hoping they will still be there after patch today LOL. Anyway, does anyone know if this type of item deletion has happened before or if it is even possible? I'm thinking since I used the mats, maybe it won't be traceable? I have seen posts where blizz says this type of market flooding is from hacked accounts / mass selling, but I wanted to get your take. Thanks!
 
well if u know how to dupe u can earn SHITloads of irl money, so when only really dedicated few people know it, blizz doesnt care. I would not be surprised if some of those dupers are blizz employees friends :)
 
What servers are u guys on. Deathcharger for 100k is insane, on mine they are 13k from asian dupers and 18k from people who worked for it.
