Hey folks,

well I got a small but annoying issue. One of my bots just dinged 80.. so i started to lvl up mining with HB.
Using an Elwynn forest mining profile, and when I start the bot he mounts and moves to a copper vein, once there the bot just runs by foot and eventually mounts every once in a while (but always like really late)

Any suggestions?

Bot Settings:
Grind Bot
Checked: Harvest Minerals, Ground mount farming mode
Loot radius: 75

Pull distance: 1
use mount is checked aswell as use experimental path following

No addons running, cc is mords convalesence

if needed i'll search out the log..

So long
Rhomb

seems so be a little better now.. mounts up more often.. propably won't mount while still downloading meshes .. still thats messed up

it's just weird that an 80 pally is running through westfall by foot

if i stop / start the bot will mount up first thing...

oh you're using HB. my bad. Yeah I don't know a lot of coding for the HB grinding. one of the devs should :) give them some time

Code:

I don't even know what the hell that is

atm i lvl mining by foot xD.. idc for the time because i bot.. but faster skillups = faster money with gb

best thing to do is smelt up to 280/290 and then go to un'goro until 300... and then bot until 450 (hellfire and then northrend)

-Kick

i had this problem to, close honorbuddy and change your level bot settings. you can find them in the /settings/ folder, then find the LevelBot_ToonName.xml (dont quote me i just woke up) and change the last line, i think it says mount distance, to 1 or even 0 if you feel frisky.

then save it, and load honorbuddy.
that should help, i had to do the same thing on my druid

Best way to lvl mining is: smelt to 230 (mithril is a bitch), then buy a crappy gray pair of gloves from a vendor (so that they'll not be soulbounded to your toon and you can use them again on another toon :D) and enchant them with Enchant Gloves - Gatherer - Spell - World of Warcraft, then go to ungoro and start gathering thorium till 270 (there's a lot of thorium over there). Then switch to hellfire/terokkar forest and gather fel iron ore/adamantite ore to 345, then to borean tundra till 395, then to sholazar basin :D

EDIT: Seems that you cannot use that enchant on items inferior than lvl 60 anymore :( BTW, the trick is still valid.

You could always farm at 275..

anyways.. does smelting now give skillups up to 300? i mean wtf?

Well i need the low lvl ores aswell.. as with cata they'll explode in price

btw +rep for the solution.. thanks
