As title says, is there any difference between running 3 bots from the same wow folder or 3 different folders on 3 different HDDs?

(Considering the reading and writing speeds of a normal 7200 RPM HDD)

Buy a cheap SSD, 64GB will be ok. They are really fast and do not make any noises. 3x WoW on a single SSD is faster than 3x WoW on three HDDs.

I seriously doubt you're running into any hdd bottlenecking issues.

you can run wow off of a thumb drive just fine ... that's not your issue, but imo ... get a big ssd for your os and wow / bots ... therefore no lag

I have a Vertex 4 SSD, 10k RPM Velociraptor, and WD Caviar Black. I've run WOW and HB from all 3 and I don't notice any difference except for maybe a little on the load time when logging in. No difference that I can tell as far as gameplay. You would maybe notice some difference on something below a SATA 3 though.
