UPDATE: NO LONGER WORKS, BLIZZARD CAUGHT ON AND HOTFIXED IT
Farms charms from unstable corruptions (small elementals) in heroic throne of the tides
Not too sure on the rate/hour but my guess from results so far is around 800-1000+ charms/hr which is 80-100+ tokens/hr. So that's a lovebird every 2-3 hours depending on your class. Gear doesn't matter much since they have 10k hp and die by most aoe skills.
Instructions:
- Obtain a Lovely Charm Collector's Kit if you don't already have one
- Make your way to throne of the tides in vashj'ir and be sure to set your settings to 5 player (heroic). Location: Throne of the Tides
- You must defeat the first boss (naga lady) and second boss (giant guy just after naga lady) to enable the pathway to the left at the start of the instance.
- Kill all the larger elementals that do not respawn EXCEPT FOR THE TWO SENTRIES BY THE GATE AT THE END OR THE SMALL ELEMENTALS WILL NOT RESPAWN.
- Open honorbuddy
- Set the mode to grind bot
- Load the profile
- Start
- If your bags are full you must manually bank
Notes:
- Play on a level 90 for best results. Not tested on lower levels and you may aggro and kill the sentries near the gate which will stop the small elementals spawning.
- Play on a class with passive healing (warrior/hunter/warlock/others). I tested this on a warrior with second wind with full greens at level 90 and second wind kept me alive.
- I've tested this for about an hour and the bot does not engage or aggro the two sentries but it could be possible if a smaller elemental wanders too close to them and your character uses chain lightning/multishot/some aoe skill.
- Large bags with a lot of empty space are ideal for longer runtime
- Do not create charms until you empty your bags since they stack to 40 (or 4 bracelets) and bracelets only stack to 1
