Monk - Which build for farming breaths on hardcore?

Hey guys,

I'd like your takes on the matter.
Any suggestions? Currently running some r6 in-geom/envious blade build but I don't have Sage's 3/3 in that one....

man im using the SSS Build and i make me T10 really nice :p
 
Come on mofo's, I know there's more knowledgeable monks out here that are killing it on hardcore.
 
What bot T1 ?

I'm actually botting T7 without any problem (using a barb but monks are basically the same)

One or two advice i'd give you for HC :

- Try to monitor as much as your willing to/can
- Build HP/allres a lot
- Don't try to climb torment toofast

It's common advices obv as i don't rly know Monk but from the builds on diablofans, make sure the build is fully functional with bot.

I'm botting T7 aswell but I feel like I could die if I encounter the wrong pack.
Dropped Focus/Restraint aswell as I need Unity + Grandeur... can't really decide between the builds mentioned above though.
One is more defensive and would probably guarantee me to stay alive but the other has some nice speed to it.


Any tips?
 
can't you put one of them ring in the cube to get a good raw ring ?

if you feel like monk isn't powerful enough just roll a barb, i'm facerolling T8. Saw the bot pull 3 elite packs + boss spawn and stomp them.

You running with Sage's 2/3 with grandeur then? If so, what build exactly? Might consider rerolling barb.

First off I have a feeling you haven't tried much yourself. Secondly try too approach people with a more subtle tone. I am not sure calling people mofo's for fun is going to achieve your goal.
Anyhow! The thing I am doing now is as Ratrox is saying, monitor it. If you decide to role the dice, run the frozen sweeping wind, crippling wave with tsunami and the pull (tired cant remember the name). This combo will make sure you CC them enough so you sweep trough them without a lot of hits. Also make sure you stack up with as much defense as possible!

Thanks for your input. I've been around for awhile and I found people responding well to being called mofo's. This because we're all trolls on the internet and we understand eachother.
On topic: I'll roll the dice and post my findings here when I have them.

We all from KappaArmy, no worry, you can call me mofo as much as you want, i feel you dude !

I'm running basic HOTA : 6 part IK Focus/Restraint as rings Strongarm bracers FotA shoulders Gavel as the weapon (Furnace/First Man Bracers/Unity in the cube)

This way i have 900k HP 1.4k AR and enough DPS to DPS lololol.
