can anyone make a fighting strategy to take advantage of this passive?

it's a big Increased damage for Monk!!!
 
where is the problem? just put it into your passive ingame and set the bot to "use spirit generator before using sss", thats it...

This doesn't work for SSS monk apparently you don't understand how the build works.
Mythic rhythm doesn't work because it increases your SSS skill and not your EP you need exploding palm damage as much as possible.
That is the main damage dealer so % of EP, or Total amount of dmg increase also increases EP, but increasing your SSS doesn't work.

This is also why everyone else uses Determination, because it increases both Exploding Palm and Seven-sided-strike for 20% which is much more significant then only 40% damage boost of your SSS.

See it like this,
Weapon damage, Exploding palm impending doom 6305%
"Your seven sides strike detonates your exploding palm"

So lets see.. The Fist of Az'Turrasq = 12,610%
Lion's clawn instead of 7 hits now becomes 14 hits of 12.610% weapon damage.
With 15% EP on helm and boots it will be 30% increase on the skill meaning 6305% becomes 8196% and this gets doubled (Az'Turrasq) so 16393% weapon damage per hit.
Exploding palm is more important then SSS simply said SSS is just the Trigger to make EP go Kaboom.

now Mythic rhythm only works on your spirit spender... meaning your SSS since its the "trigger" and not the damage dealer.
This is why determination is much better because it increases the damage of EP by 20% of all damages including Exploding palm.
The more Exploding palm damage you can get the more damage you will start to deal this also counts for elemental in Uliana's case, it should be Cold.

Also if you use broken promises you lose 200% elemental damage which allows you to hit for 3~4 Billion per hit (so times 14) once every 16~20 seconds.
Also if you use broken promises, the amount of times that you non crit is too high compared to 51% crit hit chance. using broken promises is a simple and temporarily fix for not having Best in slot gear.
as soon as you get gloves, amulet, focus and restraint with CHC,CHD and CDR your golden.

so how do you want someone here to make a strategy, build or whatever if - according to what you say - it is impossible to use für exploding palm as it is only used for sss? i do not get your point....

if you want to use advantage of the passive do not use the madstone and do not use uliana set. so you can just use a spirit generator and the next skill should be an exploding palm on someone. that way you get the 40% bonus on this single exploding palm xD repeat till the mob groups are all set up with your 40% palm and after that kill a mob and watch the show. i doubt that it will be funny play but that way your wish would work.

else use determination...

beside that i do not have an idea how it should work like you want with the bot as - beside my idea above - is impossible to use the passive just for the palm using full uliana. i am using the passive for the sss and feel fine with it :p
there is simply no way to make ep the next spirit consumer after using a spirit generator as the spirit generators automatically put ep on the mobs for no spirit costs at all. the only spirit spender you use is sss. so how should it work. spirit generator = ep on mobs. you could drop the ep separately on mobs for the passive without using sss but that would plainly be absolutely dumb ;)
so theoretically speaking mr could really improve ep by 40% but as you do not put it on mobs manually (thus not spending spirit for it) it does not work for ep, though well for sss every 2-3 seconds.

It's really the most effective on rift guardians. Otherwise Determination is a better passive in terms of damage for clearing the rest of the rift.
 
Snapshot EP buffed by MR is the best. As SSS will proc the buff'd EP that is doing 40% more, which as you stated is the majority of your dmg. MR is a passive that increases the damage of your next "damaging spirit spender by 40%" What I thought it meant was 'spirit spending spender that does damage' when infact it has no spirit spending requirement, only that it be classified as damaging. So U2 -DOES- consume the Mythic Rhythm buff... but only if there is a valid target to apply a "fresh" EP to.
