Monitor bot via Iphone/Android

I'm going away for the weekend and I wanted to be able to use my bot without being near my computer. By using this method you can pretty much mirror your computer to your iphone and thereby:

*load profiles
*change settings
*buy honor gear
*check in if your bot is working properly
*log back in if you DCed
*And the list goes on......

Simply download Teamviewer (TeamViewer - Free Remote Access and Remote Desktop Sharing over the Internet) for free and download the free app to your iphone/android.

Install the program on your computer, get hold of the ID it gives you and type in the password (which you can choose during install).

Start a session to your computer and the iphone will mirror your computer's screen.


Wow will be very slow but at least you can see whats going on, if it keeps dying or doing stupid things.

Using this method requires a Wi-Fi connection on your Iphone/android

Can also be used at work without having administrator access to install a program!

yeah, i'm using this method for several months.
but you don't need a wifi connection. 3g just works fine.
 
Would be nice if it could send you push notices when whispered!

Yeah could be cool, but it cant be done with teamviewer, cause its basicly a remote desktop application, just more advanced then the one that comes with windows. But great idea tho :)

and also Thank you alot for the post birgppa, really awesome :)
tested it and works great so far :)
 
Just get a simple Plugin to Notify you of events that happen, and use TV to check on everything.
I've been doing this since the app was released on Android :-P It sure kills a battery though... and 3G works great for me (Verizon Network on a HTC Incredible)
 
hard to see on iphone due to crap graphics on whatever setting...

but at least its good to see if the bot is still running or not :P
 
BuddyCenter was great, maybe the notices on messages are a bit slow but whatever ;)
