Mixed mode support question

Hello,

I attempted to run mixed mode earlier using questing and dungeon buddy, the quest profile was from the store kicks 1-100 and dungeon buddy i was listed as a party member follower. everything loaded then the bot proceeded to hearth and tell me that the profile was not supported with dungeon buddy. What did I do wrong?

The leader of the group was not running quests and was not in the same zone as me, could that have been the problem?

kicks profiles do not support mixed mode.
