Missing Images on forum (and still the bright skin only)

I couldn't find the old topic I started about how bright this forum currently is (after the remake and upgrade and horribly bright skin), and that it's not ajustable to make it darker (and it's still not adressed unfortunately).

Now I'm also starting to miss images from attachments.

http://www.thebuddyforum.com/images/styles/HighlightOrange/attach/cs.gif is missing for example.

Are there plans to re-introduce the skin selector so we night creatures can select a darker theme? I didn't get a answer on it last time, and as said the topic has magically disappeared (into the trashcan or deleted altogether. Search and my post history didn't reveil it).
