Mining\Herb Farming at the same time?

If you're planning on seriously making some gold, the best thing to do is make a Toon dedicated to just farming. There are certain classes that have a great advantage to others, based around mount speed increase. My favorite to date is a Hunter, mainly because in BM you have the mount speed increase and also a pet to get aggro from a mob when you land on a node been able to get the node and then kill the mob instead of been interrupted whilst trying to gather the node. Most people prefer a Paladin however down tot he Crusader Aura and talent speed increase. Now-a-days though you can use any class and get a similar advantage by been in a level 25 social guild the only problem with been in a leveling/social guild though is obviously leaving your bot in a guild with people you don't know that will be whispering you constantly wanting favors or questions. A death-knight is also acceptable due to the unholy spec mount increase. As for leveling Herb + Mining you can find profiles around the forums that will do this for you.

Death Knight mount speed increase is from Frost spec.
Personally I split it so have my DK for mining and a Druid for herbing as the Tauren Druid combo for herbs is just sick especially with the Druid Harvesthelper plugin to stay in flight form rather than fight nearby mobs.
However really it comes down to what is best for you? These days I rarely bother gathering as I play the AH instead and run a lvl 25 guild (nice steady income with little prodding).

Hes right, my bad. I could of swore it was Unholy.
Druid instant flight form, and not needing to dismount for herbs is win.
Not sure how it fairs against the mountspeed increases, but also being able to farm vashj with super fast instant aquatic form tips it over the edge as best farmer for me

Good point actually as Vashj is very rarely farmed it can make a great spot for farming depending on the server.
