I want to buy a rig for 10 bots but i dont need anymore than that and im on a pretty low budget.

So if someone could tell me the cheapest:
CPU
GPU
RAM
HDD storage

Remember this computer will be used for botting, and botting only.

One day this sort of thing will be stickied and people won't have to search for threads nor post new ones.

I answered the 5 bot question. your turn.

imo build a desktop that will ruin bf4 smooth. you'll never have to upgrade for wow again. GL

I know there has been a lot of threads. Let me turn it into a "yes, no" question. Will this work?

MSI FM2-A55M-E33 AMD FM2 Micro ATX Motherboard
AMD A8 5600K Black Edition CPU (3.6GHZ, 4MB Cache, 4 Core, HD6570)
ACE 400W PSU with 12cm Fan and SATA 24-Pin Model
Kingston KHX16C10B1R/8 8GB 1600MHz CL10 DDR3 HyperX Memory Kit
Palit 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 630 Graphics Card (DDR3, HDMI, DVI, VGA, PCI-Express 2.0, DirectX 11.0 & OpenGL 4.2 Support, 3D Vision with Blu-ray 3D Support, Nvidia PureVideo HD Technology)

Is the GPU an overkill when there is one in the CPU?

you had to mention my kryptonite now I have to reply. please don't go with AMD. read through the forum posted earlier and simply upgrade the suggestions people made.

Cheapest shit u can get away with and run it flawlessly:
AMD 1055T
8gb ddr3
Shit gfx but not integrated crap. (basically anything above 9800GT).

then u also need some knowledge on settings but that has been covered elsewhere.

EDIT: also a 7200RPM HDD

It's hard to give you any concrete information because the chances of someoen running a benchmark well running multiple bots is low. So I guess a better questions would be...
Do you plan to upgrade in the future?
Is there any use for the pc other then wow?
What is your budget?

Super hard to say, or wait...there are benchmarks that bench cpu multitasking. i.e the more cores u have the better performance will be.

I understand that but the "More cores, More better" theory is subjective. With WoW being one of the exceptions. It only utilizes 4 cores. So as great as a 8 core overclocked AMD cpu sounds and as amazing as they are at multi. tasking it isn't good enough information. WoW benchmarks are obviously running one instance. But how would a second take a toll.

Honestly the only way you will know for sure is to cross your fingers and hope a 10x bot runner decides to post there specs for you.

Each wow/hb istance takes up 1.2gigs of ram estimatly....As long as you have a 1gig graphics card and atleast 3.2 quad core all you need is the amount of ram for the bots you are running.

But if you are botting to sell gold. Give up now. Bans are way to frequent to even make the cost of the account to begin with :\ From Start of creation of the account if it makes it to lvl 90 before you get banned you get maybe 3-4 days of farming before the ban for sure lol

i have i7 3.6ghz 32 gigs ram 2 2gig graphic cards 1TB hdd 512gig SSD can bot 20 very smoothly. havent tryed more.

If you are buying new hardware DON'T buy AMD. What you need is i7. You need more than 8 gigs ram either.
I have AMD and I know a lot of people who have AMD for this and nope, that is not that good.

AMD is Fine for botting. I7 is just waist of money if its for botting purposes. my Old PC was 2.8ghz amd quad core 12 gigs ram 1gig graphics card and botted 10 accounts fine.

Actualy you gona save money in electricity with i7. Ofc AMD is fine but intel is a lot better and cheaper in 3 months on electricity. And it is allways better to spend few buck more for long runs. Like I said I have AMD and have a lot of friends who have it. Don't get me wrong, AMD is good. But if you are investing in new botting hardware and can afford few bucks more, I7 is a choice.

I got amd 8350 and i can say its quite bad.
I run 8 bots and if i wanna put 9th on it starts freezing as hell. Yet on 8150 i was able to run 12+ bots just fine.

And for all the I7 botters i'm wondering one thing, which one do you recommend 3770k or 4770k?

i7 4930k will run 25 bots
cheapest way is amd fx 8350 or 9490

About I7 you can ask Igor, he allways have cheapest I7 solutions :) But you are rarely on skype.

4770 (not K ) plus cheapest motherboard you can find, overclocking is not worth it dollar/bot wise
