Hello , sorry to make a post , but i did a search and dont think i found quiet what i am looking for.

I would like to beable to cancel / start the program in game. Is this possible?

When i try and tab out to stop the program , the program fights me and tries to keep my game window maximized.

Is there a way for me to keep it from fighting me when i try and minimize the game?

Also , is there a feature where i can control the movement of my character , but have the bot do the fighting or healing but i move the character?

PS : I had a Temp ban about a Month ago , they dont have a program that sniffs all around my computer to pick out the bot specifically since i was caught do they?

play your game in windowed mode, and bring HB to the front, so dont minimize wow, instead click in your taskbar and select the hb icon, this will bring the hb window above wow. you can do this for all programs , google chrome, windows media players etc, so you can still bot in the background. as for you handling the movement and the bot handling combat there are two options you can use the combat bot wich is built in, or you can use this better option plugin/botbase http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...ider-user-controlled-raiding-heroics-raf.html enjoy!

Edit: oh and yes the do have a program that sniffs around your computer looking for bots/hacks in a way / its called Warden. but HB/GB are undetected by it.

you can't 'minimize' it but you can shrink the window - run it in windowed (not windowed fullscreen) and then just drag the edges to make it smaller

as far as the warden - the warden can no longer scan outside of it's process (as of like 5 or 6 years ago, maybe longer)

Your description is a little fuzzy, so we'll try to cover all the bases. Ignore whatever doesn't apply to you.
  • Honorbuddy doesn't work with a WoWclient in 'full screen' mode. You *must* be in 'windowed mode' for it to work correctly.
  • Honorbuddy doesn't allow the WoWclient to be minimized while Honorbuddy is running.
If you think about this a few minutes, you realize that Honorbuddy is designed this way to keep you from getting banned. If the WoWclient is minimized, and the toon is still executing actions like moving, killing, or NPC interactions, then you realize these are activities that could easily be detected by the Warden. (Not saying the Warden actually does this kind of detection, but it would be a very simple and easy thing for it to check).

So, in short, you must use windowed mode, and 'shrink your window', or find some other means to get to your Honorbuddy client when the WoWclient is running.

This is the "Combat/Healbot" that ships with Honorbuddy. Bobby53's LazyRaider Bot is also very popular in the Community.

Yes and no. It won't pick out the bot specifically, but there is a monitor program called "The Warden" that looks for particular activities. Honorbuddy does a really great job of shielding us from The Warden. If you want to know more about it, I suggest Google, or reading on MMOwned.com.

Alright cool thanks , last time i was caught i kept fullscreen mode on and tryin to tab all the time.

One more question , the only way for them to see if i am botting is by observation right? They cant just randomly come up to me and sniff my computer ? With something besides Warden?

Warcraft, like most games of its ilk, incorporates client-side detection and server-side detection. Honorbuddy itself keeps us safe from the client-side detection. Preventing server-side detection is your job (or the job of the profiles you select to run). Server-side detection is done by 'behavior analysis' conducted by Blizzard (e.g., are your grinding too long without biobreaks, are you spamming macros faster than is humanly possible, etc.).

You can start learning about this here...
[wiki]HB Usage: How do I keep from getting banned?[/wiki]

After that, the forum has a wealth of user experiences. In short, you need to learn to 'bot safely'. Despite that, its still possible to get caught. On the flip side, some people never learn to do this, or simply don't care.

You should never bot on an account you actually care about. Botting is a cat-n-mouse game you will eventually lose, given enough time.
