Hey all you miners! :D What is your favourite thing to do, when smelting ores? i am smelting 1k ores as im typing this, and watching nfl reruns :D
Post what you like to do :D
 
vendoring ores on the 2h repair flight run is what i love to do
 
Btw, how does ppl earn over 5k gold a night? i dunno if im doing it wrong, but what i do is: Farm in sholo, all saronite gets smelted and vendored, titanium smeltet for titansteel wich gets on AH, and Eternals on AH. Am i doing it wrong? If yes, how to do it correct? :D
 
titansteel are getting useless, you are better to get some gems out from them.

Also, IMO, sholo is useless for mining, since 95% are saronite.
 
I bot with my other accounts.. or make adjustments.. sell stuff on ebay and so on..
 
im watching the office during that time, Im vendoring my saronite every 3 days with a profit of about 3.5k. Or I vendor on days like these, directly after patch.
 
I read these forums while doing stuff like smelting :)

Saronite Ore -> Sell
Titanium Ore -> New gems for JC / Titanium steel.
 
I'm just watching Stargate Universe as I smelt 5 guild bank tabs of ore.. yay.. Lol
 
Ive had a private buyer for my saronite ore, just selling at 15/g stack which is a little low but it keeps my gbank empty. My buyer told me he xmutes his saronite into titanium, and he prospects titanium and also has a buyer of 100 titansteel a week or so.. (which meant he bought 17 stacks of eternal fires off me.. schwing).. but he said he makes 2g/titanium bar profit, and he'd still make profit if he just sold the prospecting. Tempted to check it out and make an alchemist but seems like lot of micromanagement, I work 40 hours a week and dont want to spend hours each day doing sales stuff..

He also was buying my titanium for 150g/stack and my eternal earths for 80g stack.. but yeah the ore on the AH was at 13g yesterday and he didnt need anymore saronite so I made them into bars and sold them for 35g/stack, 90 stacks. I still think my herbalist pulls in my cash with frost lotus/icethorn/lich bloom + eternal lifes
 
Now its cataclysm, so what do you ppl do with your ores, now the prices are falling drasticly! :S
 
On my server i make more by prospecting all my ore and sell the gems uncut...

I prospect all my ore, cut the Inferno rubys and sell rest of the mats raw. On my server Elementium ore is 120g a stack. I make double/tripple that from prospecting
