Mesher vs. Profile Creator

What is the difference between the two, and when should each one be used?

The Profile Creator seems quite simple to use, but I am a bit confused on the mesher tab.

The mesh instructs Ryftomate on where it is able to walk - the profile tells Ryftomate what to do.
You use them together - you make a mesh in the area you want to grind, and a profile with the mobs etc.
If you look at the profile creator, it actually tells you that you can make a mesh while building the profile.

So I created a mesh using the mass Mesh button and running around and saved it.

Then I went into the profile creator and added the mobs I wanted to kill, and typed in the name of the Mesh I saved at the bottom. Then I saved the profile, and loaded it.

Is that the general routine?

Assuming the mesh was for the same area, thats exactly how to do it.
