Hey guys,
I wondered this for quite a time now and wanted to know if I'm correct with my assumptions.

So the navigation system within HB works like this right: Click ?

= The profile gives the bot a coordinate to go to (Hotspot)-Bot uses mesh and finds out the fastest way to get to that coordinate.

And I must say this works really well.

There is one big problem though, let me give you an example:

I was recently questing with kickz profile, when I noticed that my bot ran a route, that 5 other (I kid you not!) players were following 100% accurately.
So a normal player wouldn't assume anything of that, but each of the HB users could've reported all of the other 5 bots and that could lead to a quick ban.
I would say 70% of the reports you get are actually from other bot users.

How hard would it be to just let the bot run about 1-15 yards seperated from the ideal route (ofc randomized).
Then every bot would look like a human, not following the exact same route and that would cause way less reports.

I remember Pirox hat an option like that and it worked really well (Yeah different navigation system, I know).

tl;dr
Can you develop the bot to not follow the ideal mesh-route, but randomize it a bit?

This is also the biggest problem in BGs because in 40mans you can see 20+ ppl go exact same path lol :D

Yeah and if it was easy the mods would've probably changed it already. But I think it'd be interestring to get a reply by someone who knows more about that (mods pretty much).

This would not only lead to a million stucks, which I guess you could fix by adding it as an option when making a profile as an extra parameter but then it's a lot more work, but how would it look more human. Let's not walk from point A to point B, let's zig zag uncontrollably to get to our location! Just don't use public profiles. Ever. That's true about ANY bot that has ever existed.

Doesn't such a "Mesh-system" behave like a "Fixed list of waypoints system"?
