Memory leak in the current HB release?

My system specs:
i7 920 @2,66 MHz
12GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600MHz
64MB SSD
GeForce GTX 260

My computer has no problems running 6 instances of GB and 3 instances of HB at once.

Now I switched to running 6 instances of HB with Convalesce CC. It will run for a few hours, CPU load is around 40%, 6 GB memory in use and temperature around 50-60 degrees celsius, nothing fancy.

Gradually the system becomes more and more sluggy'ish, the WoW clients becomes choppy and eventually stops responding. I'm wondering what could cause this, if there is a memory leak in HB or something else going on.

I am experiencing 100% the same.

My system specs:
q9450 @3,50 GHz
8 GB DDR2 RAM
4xSataII Raid 0
GeForce GTX 470

At the beginning it doesn't matter if i run several times gb or hb. Been running gb even for more then 30+ hrs without any problems. With honorbuddy running (even only 1 session) it starts getting slower and slower after hours.

At the beginning:
(all settings are set to low, even resolutions is set to minimum, wow window as small as possible)
- 2 Gatherbuddy sessions
- 1 Honorbuddy session
- CPU load 30%, used ram 3 GB (each wow uses something about 3xx ram on everything set to low)
- temps are all fine, same as you something between 50-60 degrees celsius

After (i don't know exactly) 8hrs+
- 2 Gatherbuddy sessions running perfect as before
- 1 Honorbuddy sessions, starts to get a lot of debug errors and visual fails*
- CPU load 80-90%+ whole system lags, used ram also at 80-90%+
- temps are a bit higher then before 55-65 degrees celsius

The debug errors are a lot of sync and cc handle fails. (doesn't matter which cc). With visual fails i mean that the char reacts slow..there are a few seconds break between spell usage, while playing pvp it fails with moving and falls down cliffs/bridges (arathi) or just doesn't react when attacked.

I did not recognized it first, when i went to the pc in the morning and almost always wow and hb had crashed..but then i started testing and it only crashed when hb was running over night..gb always run without any problems.

In a few cases hb used that much cpu power that even gb starts acting stupid with "crazy unstick movement" even if it was in the air without anything in the environment where it could get stuck, so it stopped gb after some time.

I think I found your bottleneck :P

On a more serious note; I'm not having any problems at all. I'm only running 1 GB & 2 HB though.

oh haven't seen this...sure that's the problem =)

Huh? How is that a bottleneck?

you wrote MB instead of GB..that was joke *tada* =)

Something else, i don't know if it helps to post a log..but i'm a bit afraid cause i did mixed mode and all the attacked player names are logged =)
I just got a message that wow got frozen so this now has been exactly "[07:21:25:812] Starting MixedMode." to "[13:14:30:105] Memory moved for lua events (newEvents); skipped for now." almost something like 6 hours.
After the memory moved entry i get this one like a million times:
System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Ein Aufrufziel hat einen Ausnahmefehler verursacht. ---> System.Exception: Process must have frozen or gotten out of sync; InjectionFinishedEvent was never fired.

It was the same behaviour as described before, cpu + ram have been totally overloaded.

I get this problem too, cpu will spike out of nowhere with HB at times, It's mental.

Unless you guys run 64bit systems.

Why the hell do you think a huge amount of RAM makes your e-penis longer ?

^ Whut...?

Maybe we use those 64bit OS from this century.

I have only 4 gigs tho.

Anyone building a new system and not choosing 64bit OS is a fool.

However, I do agree that 12gb of RAM is ridiculously more then needed. I run with 6gbs due to Trichannel RAM, 2gb x3 @ 1600.

I ran the shit we have on the SVN for about 10 hours yesterday (Mixed) flawless.
Memory leak is fixed in the next release :)

I noticed a bit of this problem as well. But since there's a new version coming out to support cata, it might be a non issue anyway.

I have been running a 64 bit OS for quite a while, ever since vista came out. There's no reason NOT to get 64 bit now, especially considering RAM costs/capacity.

Currently running on 12gig ram, I have no problem running 6+ copies of wow @ 230+ FPS and never slow down comp
Not interwebs boasting, but I dont think that 12gb ram is too much. I bought some bundle with a fan and was like 350$ built my total comp for 1600 and is unbeleavable
