A few Things to Keep in Mind...

Selling 48 stacks of Lichbloom on the Auction House can seem a daunting task; with the threat of coming under scrutiny of other players, of affecting the in-game economy, and of those 48 stacks not selling altogether. The life of a Gatherbuddy user can be a tad hectic, even though we aren't the ones farming the mats. But it shouldn't be, if one keeps in mind a few key suggestions that will be given in this post.

Becoming a "Certified Re-seller"

Many people who look around these forums for tips might come across this simple fact which seems to lead to gold: "I sell to my irl friends." But to many of us this is simply not an option, whether our irl friends don't play World of Warcraft or because our friends don't know that we bot. Whatever the reason their is a simple fix which I found myself on the first day I posted my 48 stacks of Lichbloom. This fix came by the way of a characters name which probably in turn saved me from the dreaded "ban hammer." Putting up 48 auctions, or even 10 or 12 of a single item everyday is not ideal. But when I had sold 20 of those 48 Lichbloom I saw a solution, I might as well sell to the people who consistently buy my products. From their it was not hard work seeing who bought my auctions the most and tracking down that player. If those players ask you how you got "x" amount of mats, you say you buy them each day from one of your in-real life friends. Problem solved!

Be Persuasive!

Tracking down a player and asking if they wanted to be my "buyer" was not enough. The player needed to have some sort of incentive to buy from me. Obviously that had to come with the the lowering of price by a large amount. This in turn causes five things to occur:

  • The selling of every single item which was farmed.
  • One no longer has to worry about selling on the Auction House and the danger/ uncertianty that it brings.
  • One no longer has to pay for the deposit that the Auction House requires, which can really add up if items do not sell.
  • It is possible that some may have to sell their farmed items for up to 50% less than AH but than it is possible to sell much more in bulk.
  • The ability to set a certain time each day to sell to your buyer(s)

Sell, Sell, Sell!

Keep on selling while gradually collecting 3-4 buyers and enjoy the safe (as safe as it can be) profits!
