Max Sessions - Authentication Failed

So, Buddywing crashed on me after it spoke to an NPC that despawned after the conversation. Before I relaunched, I logged into BuddyAuth and killed the session, yet the program still produces the error: Max Sessions Authentication failed. I've even logged out and back in and verified BuddyAuth lists no open sessions.

Quite troublesome because it was doing so well with leveling a new alt while I worked on homework. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? Already tried deleting the Buddywing and downloading a new copy and restarting my computer. I'd hate to lose my last 6.5 hours of use because the program wouldn't let me in.

I gave it a few hours. Next thing I got after that original message was the the key was expired.
