max session problem

cant login to honorbuddy :( getting max sessions error. so my first idea was to kill the session. but in buddyauth there is currently no session active to kill.

here is my log

Hi, Testorr, and thanks for the log.

The only way we can see the problem you describe happen, is if the key you're using with Honorbuddy is not attached to the account you're using to log into the Buddy Store. This article describes the "Max Session" issue, why it happens, and what you can do about it.


However, the article will not help if indeed the key is on a different account than the one you're using to access the Buddy Store.

If no joy, please contact [email protected] with your key information, decribe the problem, and let them see if there is something obviously wrong with your account. The forum staff do not have access to user account information to help you with this further.

the key is attached to the buddyauth account i checked for an active session (i only have 1 buddyauth account)

No, neither the forum moderators, nor the Support staff, have access to your Honorbuddy account information. It is strictly up to you to use one of the above techniques to remedy the problem.

i hope this is not the case.
1.: waiting for the session to "idle out" is pointless because there is no active session.
2.: killing the session is impossible, since there is no active session.

i googled "buddyauth" - which took me to https://na.buddyauth.com - using the link provided from the helpdesk you posted took me to "https://eu.buddyauth.com" - and here i could see my old active session an was able to kill it

EDIT: AHA! the session keeps returning. so someone must have "stolen" my key. since i never shared it (even though a friend has asked me this once, i told him no and he got his own key...)
it seems like my pc got infected with some nasty shit. -.- thank you antivirus for beeing so very "effective". will contact the support team using email. i hope the can help me somehow.

We've updated the Wiki page to make it clear that it matters which Region is used with the Buddy Auth Portal when managing keys.

Use the Windoze Task Manager, and make certain you do not have a 'zombie' Honorbuddy running in the background. If you still suspect a hacked key, you will need to contact [email protected] to arrange for a replacement.

is has to be a hacked key, i havent played all week, restartet my pc several times this week. so it realy cant be me XD allready contacted support. once again thank you chinajade!
