if i want 100g
and i put an item an the AH for 100g i will get 15% less
what amount of gold do i need to put an item to get the 100g

You're talking about neutral ah right? Because normal ah have only 5% cut.

What you want / what you get after cut (in %) * 100
100/85*100=about 117.65

Correct me someone of I'm wrong

If the auction house takes 5% then you can just multiply the original amount by 1.05 to determine how much you should post the item for, no?

100*1.05 = 105g

but 100g is what you want, and that's 95%. And you want to know what 100% is.

so, no 100*1.05=105g
but 100/95*100=105g 26s 32c (+ deposit, which is 15% of vendor sell price for 12h, 30% for 24h and 60% for 48h, on faction AH)

or 100/0.95=105g 26s 32c

Yep you're right, I was doing 105% of 100 instead of treating 100 as 95% of what you need to post it as.

To clear things up for OP it should be like:

g = p*.95-f

g is how much gold you want/get
p is the posting price
f is the posting fee
If you want 100g it would be 100 = p*.95-f, which would equal 100/.95+the posting fee, if you want to know how much you would get for posting something at 100g it would be g = 100*.95 - the posting fee.
