Manual/Forced download of meshes

Is there a way to force a manual initial download of all meshes? I understand it is 500 MB... but if I could force an initial download, even if I won't be going to those places, I would have at least a base level to start from.

Also, since devs are not having problems with the mesh server, and both 497 and 10(beta) builds are having problems with grabbing meshes... could this be a Internet infrastructure routing problem? I doubt so many people's router network configurations have changed, and the build of 497 has been static for about a week now, so it's needs for port hasn't changed. If a dev wants to PM me, I'll work to best of knowledge to provide tracert's and manual checks of mesh servers.

No you can't download the meshes in their entirety, even though I personally believe we should be able to if we choose to.

Well, i have the same problem to. Cannot connect to the mesh server. Is there somethink change on the server?

Traceroute to different mesh servers seems fine and latencies are low (which is good)

The standard IIS page displays very fast. Windows servers spotted

So I am guessing the mesh service has some issues.

im assuming the no data for azeroth xx_xx is caused by bgbuddy not knowing what to do, then i enter a BG and it repeats as pvpzone whatever. I really wish i could download everything. im sure my 2tb drive wouldnt mind the 500mb download -_-;
