Making Profiles

Oki, so I have started to make my on profiles, but Im finding it hard to find hotspots.

Do you guys just run arround making hotspots where you find the herbm / mine?
Or is it some other way tofind them

yes. Use GatherMate2 Addon GatherMate2 - Map & Minimap - World of Warcraft Addons - Curse
and import data from its crowd filled database Overview - GatherMate2_Data - Addons - Projects - WowAce

this addon works in all regions of WoW (so does Gatherbuddy). It records/shows nodes to farm, and with provided database you can generate hotspots for profiles.
It really doesn't matter how do you reach/travel to these nodes.
