Making gold

Hi all,

I've got a few level 100's now but the 2 I use the most are my hunter and DK. The hunter has alchemy & jewelcrafting, the DK has herbalism & mining.

I'm completely confused about how to make gold. I seem to be spending it very quickly on garrison upgrades etc but nothing is coming in. I know it's a noob question but what should I be doing to get the gold flowing in ? Should i build particular things in my garrison's or be doing certain things?

Not many people here are willing to give away their routine without a little $ up front.
That said, with the introduction of Garrisons the profession market has taken a small dip from previous expansions.

IMO JC / Alch / Herb is viable while Mining has taken a dive; most crafting professions are useless, unless you want an extra CD for creation to couple with a Garrison building.
Most "gold farm" guides are in form of location and grind; the instance market is still very lucrative if you know where to go and what to do; though often you will be utilizing more than just HB.

I'd suggest going to Owned Core and doing some forum searches as the "people" there are a bit more loose lipped.
You may also wish to check out GatherIt's profiles, he has some free versions for this type of thing, and I can vouch for his premium versions, here

You gotta put the effort in to research your realm to devise a tactic for gold making. I run instance farms as mentioned when I need guaranteed gold per hour and I do a rotation between Shivering Trench, BoE Farming, and Savage Blood trapping. I then have a few realms with a steady demand for bags so I make those or farm the mats for them.

I also have my super custom pimp shit profiles too that with a little luck makes a lot of gold for myself, so people do find ways to be profitable it's just unlikely you will hear about it because why would I undermine my income stream to make a little cash when as soon as I put the word out my method is no longer viable..

A long with the websites, there are several WoW Addons that will assist with both market tracking and auction house utilization.
The list is a very long one, but for the sake of a small post (and brief explanation) we're going to stick with the two few.

Battle pets are account bound - buy rare pets from cheap servers for about 50 - 500 gold (can make that easy by using buddy store 1-100 leveling in a few of hours), level the pets up and sell them on the main server you are on. Battle pets are easy to level if you have the right pets and can sell from 2k to 100k.

Also another addon that can make you tons of gold is TradeSkillMaster. I have been using this for years now it was the best addon choice I ever made. Learn how to use it here. I'm to be looking into a bot for this addon.

You just need to create names for some buttons on tsm and exec lua command for it.

There is a lot of botter obfuscation in TSM these days that afaik prevents this now, the buttons are not addressable directly. I'm happy to be proved wrong if you want point me in the right direction though.

If you're interested in AH botting look into AH Buddy and the forthcoming Greedy . I'd steer clear of Salesman, as the support is terrible in my experience.

Is that so? Bummer. Sapu has been trying to avoid the botters for a while now. Seems he may have figured it out.

Yes you can macro that, but you can't macro the "search" button, or the "start sniper", "stop sniper" functions, try pressing /fstack in game when you're in game and have the TSM AH gui open, you'll see what I mean, all of the buttons don't have an address.

TSM back then didn't had the address or names on buttons i was forced to edit the code too, but maybe is harder nowadays due to obfuscation. WoW doesn't run compiled Lua right?
