Making gold Without using AH?

Are there any ways to make gold without using Auction House? Like sell stuff to vendor?

I'm currently doing mining and herbing, but I got so much materials I don't know what to do with, they are not selling fast enough in Auction House. I got so much of them sitting in my bank.

Any advice? I just want to make about 100k and quit.

You can always sell stuff to vender, but in most cases, you make ALOT more selling via AH.

How about using some service trades (jewelcrafting, tailoring, leatherworking, blacksmithing, incription...) and using some of those raw mats to craft - and selling the crafted materials, or in some cases (esp jewelcrafting), disenchanting for the mats?

You can also do this:
Say Obsidium is 25g on AH.
You say into /trade "WTS Obsidium @ 15g bulk" or whatever price.
Someone will look at the AH and say holy crap, 15g, i can post on AH for 25g.
They then whisper, "how many do you have?" (this means they are already gonna buy them they just wanna know how much gold to get from their alts)
You tell them about 50% of what you actually have.

Once you have traded them that 50% you offer them your services for that price as a "Cash on Demand" in-game mail.
Say something like, if you want more I can COD them to you.
They'll either say yes or no.
The next day you proceed to COD them 25% of your original stock, so 50% of what you have left, then the next day the remaining 25%.

Tada, you now have yourself a private buyer.
