Making gold without AH

Scenario:

You got a 90 hunter. You cannot use the auction house nor trade with other players. How would you make the most gold in 1 week? Discuss

Archeology. Archeology drops a lot of grey items with high value, so get 4 big bags and let the hunter fly all over Azeroth, gather greys, then vendor them. Maybe you will end up with something like 2K a day.

Not sure if serious, you'd be better off grinding/dungeon runs should clear about 9k gold a day with dungeon runs depending on drops and so on. Grinding depends where but you can farm certain items which might make good gold depending on your server.
 
I don't have a 90 hunter. I can use the auction house and trade with other players.
 
I think the OP wants to not be noticed by flagging up on AH sellings tons of herbs/ores whatever.
 
Its mostly that I'm on a dead server, with max 100 posts on AH at primetime.
 
I got my reasons to stay on this server. Anyway, it's not the point. The question is, how can you maximize gold income without player trading?
 
farming herbs then milling making ink of dreams and at least shouderinscriptions :P 375g per stack @ npc
or farming cataherbs and make mysterious fortune cards and with luck you have the epic 5k card

farming solo dungeons for transmoggitems and the stuff you don?t need gone to npc.

I like all the people suggesting selling stuff on the auction house itt. It's like they didn't have the time read as far as the end of the thread title.

If your server is dead with no economy, what do you need gold for?

You could farm as high level old raids as possible for gold. Do as many dailies as you can each day. I haven't botted in a while and just dailies + one scenario/dungeon a day gets me quite a bit of gold.

Is your realm *dead* dead, or just economy dead? One of the realms I'm on is so populated its locked, but there's barely any economy to speak of for some reason. Still many ways to make gold selling stuff on the ah.
 
Well I'm not sure if it's really possible to get wealthy without player trading, I've never made that much gold from the ah except what I earned which was 10K+ via ah in a week, If the ah is a problem go to the source, trade with players face to face, this saves you time and money, frankly i prefer face to face with people because they'll more than likely ask for more so if they're a consumer you can continue to farm. I do know that returning to the recent xpacs to complete zone quests are the best way to get gold however, which is what I did back in lk when I was bored and broke. Each toon taking home 10k or more and being over geared made the quests easy... Quest reward vendor sale was what 20-30g per green? sounds like a win win lol
