Make lots of gold killing the Brewfest-boss

For each kill of Corren Direbrew you get ~20g and using Instancebuddy it works fully automated. At the Moment everybody is farming for the trinket and I get invites in <1 minute :).
Seems like a great way to make guaranteed gold without the fear to crash the auction house. I will let it run about an hour and report back how much gold it farms until then.
 
Probably doesn't support it officially but using the option "special event" it works flawlessly. Unfortunately the will restart my server in 15min so I can't let it run a whole hour.
 
Ah... But I think it's easier to earn money from volatile air or gathering.. Btw, can the mount drop?
 
as soon as my pally tank got teled inside, it targetted Grim Patron instead of "doing its thing", Id say no, it doesnt work currently.
 
Nah the mounts are only from the bag's you can get once a day, atleast too my knowledge :) but you can sure get some nice trinket,s and a weap depending on wich class you are :)

would say this is pretty useless since you can farm something else instead and make tons more.

only thing that sells are the weapons, trinks dont sell aswell... so 20 g + a chance on 35 g a run.

Ye ofc :) but i ment that you could get a nice trinket for your toon, not for selling, and ofc its easier too make more gold in other ways, all tho this is quite nice if you want the mount from the daily bag or, just some trinkets like i said :)
 
Havent done the event yet, how much gold does he drop in total?
The 20g is that just what he drops for the group? Or just what you got personally? ( 1 person)
 
I have 5 accounts and could farm the sh*t out of it, any chance someone could alter or upgrade instancebuddy to allow tanking, heals and dps?

Or does it work already? I havent tested it yet because I only found out about it this morning at work?
 
I'm in the same boat but I couldn't get it to work. It wouldn't queue up like it was supposed to (using special event dungeon) and when I manually joined the dungeon it would think it was at the last hotspot and just leave. What did work for me, was using LazyRaider on my tank and IB on my 3 dps & healer and manually starting the fight. Of course, it only takes 60 seconds to kill him so if I can't afk, it's kinda pointless anyway.
 
Yeah I'm looking for something with more afk ability, I'm drooling at the thought of making 100g/min + vendoring/selling any weapons that drop for assumedly another 20g.

Given the size of the dungeon surely it couldnt be that hard

You get transported to a spot next to the boss to kill, take 10 steps, kill him, rinse and repeat. Only thing using IB and having reque with same group ticked actually transports you out of the dungeon and leaves the group, you don't stay with them, you need to click on anything WOW puts up to reque. Maybe it is because you can reque as soon as the boss is down and IB has a 60 second timer in it, dunno ? Not AFKable with others.

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to say here G? The reason IB is not afkable with other dungeons (as far as i'm aware) is that they are not tank supported. If there is some way to get IB to support the Brewfest instance I can't see why it wouldn't be able to rejoin as group?
 
Wow thanks for this tip! I qued up instancebuddy, set it to special event. ( Holy paly ) He cleared the whole dungon in a matter of 1 minute no problems, it reques and im making some fast gold.
