Main healer choice for Legion (Enyo bot base)

What are your opinions on how all of the healers will do in legion?

Having played all of the healers within the last few days doing some heroics and casual lfrs my best healer to bot list is almost upside down from wod
I really think that druids and MWs are going to be fan favorites of enyo healers going into legion. I think that getting rid of the GCD On the pally beacon hurts the holy pally this Xpac.

What are your thoughts?

I've had a priest as main since I started playing around june 2005. I have always had disc as my main spec. Even in vanilla where disc was outright stupid, I loved it so I used it. In TBC as well. And WotLK, and Cata, and MoP, and WoD.

But now's the first time it feels that disc is really not keeping up with the other healers. The idea is pretty cool and I like the idea, but it simply doesn't work very well. Weak and few direct heals, even less direct AoE heals. The only viable way to heal your party or raid is through atonement en then dps some enemies. But for that to work you first need to apply atonement to the required targets. Then start dps'ing some enemies. Then keep track of how long your atonement will be up on your targets. If nessecary, re-apply atonement. And repeat and repeat.

Sounds fun enough, but sometimes there is a lot of movement in fights so keeping atonement up and doing enough dps on enemies to outheal the damage your team is taking, is pretty hard.

Apart from that Disc doesnt seem to have any 'oh crap' buttons anymore; it is very hard to cope with (unsuspected) spike dmg.

Hopefully there will be some changes to disc, and hopefully things will look different when you have your artifact weapon.

But as for now I'm rollin' holy priest.
 
If you want to stand back and heal, a disc is not for you. I am seeing they are adding some "fist weaving" to most classes now. They want you to spend some of your free globals on dps.
Perhaps giving enyo the chance to fist weave for you may actually make you better? Get away from the stand there and just heal. They have holy for that.
As a healer in legion you are going to have to learn how to dps.
 
personally Mistweaver was always the most fun for me and most interactive.
Is it the most efficient? Probably not. Holy Pal/Restro Druid is probably better and Rsham too.
