Main and only account First ban - 72 Hour ban

Just started using the Beta Bot last night at around 4:00AM CST and botted for about an hour. I logged in today and I've been botting for about 5 hours using the beta bot. I want to mention that I was currently playing by hand because the bot was getting hung up on a quest when the ban happened.

This is my first ban and I cannot stress enough to you how closely I watch the bot. I never bot more than 6-7 hours and the bot is never left unsupervised, and I mostly use the bot for leveling. I've never posted more than 30-50 of the same materials on the AH and currently had none running.


This is a US ban, and it just happened moments ago.

OK, I just got an email and it's a 72 hour suspension that I am going to fight like crazy since I was playing by hand at the time.

Well, they are sticking to their guns and are refusing to remove the temporary suspension. Seeing as in how this is my main and only account, my botting days are done. I knew I would eventually get caught, and in a way, it's a relief. The only thing I've done different in the past few days is use the Beta version of HB. I can't prove that's what got me caught, but that's the theory I'm going with until proven otherwise.

Best of luck to you other botters and remember, I was questing by hand, not gathering or grinding. There really is no such thing as safe botting.

i wouldn't of fought a 72hour. Just think of it like you said and play it safe on that account from now on

Umm people can haha, people work over 10 hours straight but with botting you can go afk sometimes and not log out, You can raid for up to 8 hours a day without logging out.

The day I get my first 72 hour warning on my main account is the day I buy a 2nd subscription.

That's simply not true. I know multiple legit playing people that are on WoW 10+ hours a day. Albeit they are kids, but nonetheless, 6-7 hours isn't a long time to be logged in.
